Thanks for this vid! I’m into layering, and one of my favorite ways to hide the tummy area w/o being too covered up (I live in south FL) is wearing a quasi-crocheted tank top over a spaghetti strap maxi dress. I throw a long cardigan on top and it’s perfect for the office or whatever I might get up to – very comfy, not too revealing and I look stylish in a new-to-me way.

A definite NO on lo rise, puffers and little house on the prairie white maxis and crop tops. I read a cute Instagram user ‘s post who did a shout out to manufacturers: hey, there’s a whole demographic out there who would like the bottom half of the shirts too. Definitely spoke to me. Great video as always☺

  3. Sharron Wolfe on February 8, 2022 at 10:07 pm

Periwinkle has long been my favorite color! So I’m looking forward to seeing some of it in the stores I love to shop! However, don’t think I will painting a walk in it!
Really enjoyed the mall tour! Had to believe they’re bring back the low rise jeans! They are not at all flattering! But younger women (and far too many older women! 😬) certainly liked the trend before, so we’ll see how it goes! Bare midriffs?!! Definitely not me! Ha! I’ll stick to slacks and dresses right below the knee!
Thanks for another “Awesome” video, Heather! Enjoyable as always!

I agree…hard pass on low rise jeans, crop tops, and weird prairie dresses.

  5. Joyce C on February 8, 2022 at 10:10 pm

Periwinkle is such a beautiful color. Agree with you on crop tops and low rise jeans 👎…very few gals can pull off that look.

  6. Ramey Zamora on February 8, 2022 at 10:13 pm

Looking better than ever, sister! Good vid since there are no malls within 50 miles of me. My latest crush is midi & maxi dresses. Amazon has quite a few knit ones in good colors. They take accessories well, look fab with long or short jackets, vests, boots or tights & flats, & are surprisingly warm. It’s a fun profile to add to the others in the closet wardrobe.

  7. Donna Payne on February 8, 2022 at 10:13 pm

I will not be wearing crop tops or low rise jeans. I might try the periwinkle blue and saffron in a purse.

  8. Maureen Jessica Mary on February 8, 2022 at 10:15 pm

Don’t know about you but I’d feel really uncomfortable wearing those bright Color’s in public ,I don’t like to stand out so obviously . Maybe just a splash of Color like a scarf or bag or shoes ,but not the whole dress 😬 thanks for taking us shopping

  9. Anne-marie Walsh on February 8, 2022 at 10:15 pm

Hi Heather A very Happy New Year to you and all your followers. I sure won’t be wearing low rise jeans but I do love the periwinkle blue. Thanks for all the great videos. Look forward to more of the same. Regards from the West coast of Ireland 🇮🇪❤

  10. Rosey C. on February 8, 2022 at 10:17 pm

Heather, I LOVE periwinkle, and, it actually looks good with my cool coloring. I don’t pay too much mind to the whole, "Pantone color of the year", but, I like this one. I was just thinking yesterday that I’ve never had a red bag and would like one. I work out at home, so I can wear anything. I’d need to find a puffy coat in a petite size, to avoid looking like the Michelin man..not too puffy! 🙄 Low rise jeans and crop tops..I’ll leave those to the young chicklets. I like a classic, kind of timeless style. Saffron, nope! That red looks good on you. We just need to wear what looks good on US! Thanks so much for sharing; hope you three have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
    Rosemarie 💖

I love my puffy coat but not to puffy! Love the chunky shoes and they are really comfortable! You should try them. I love low rise jeans as the high waist makes my bust look huge. The low waist gives me a waist instead of shortening it.

  12. betty west on February 8, 2022 at 10:19 pm

Didn’t like any of them. Being short I appreciate a shorter top but to reach the bottom of my belt at least. Puffy jackets were popular in the 80’s and didn’t like them then either.

  13. bhollantu on February 8, 2022 at 10:19 pm

I’m with you on the overly puffy coats, low rise jeans and the crop tops!

  14. Mary Abdel-Malik on February 8, 2022 at 10:20 pm

Happy Blessed New Year let us go very perry

I Love That Mall! Something for every walk of life there!
Love the red top and the lip color – it is bright yet very soft looking. Thanks for taking us along with you! Keep Yourself Well, and see you over on IG!

  18. Janet Straw on February 8, 2022 at 10:22 pm

🙋‍♀️ Periwinkle is a plant – creeping myrtle, (Vinca) with a love little blue flower! SO pretty!

  19. Maria on February 8, 2022 at 10:23 pm

Love the video! Periwinkle is not my color. It brings out the circles under my eyes!

  20. Flower gal Power on February 8, 2022 at 10:24 pm

I luv high rise jeans, pink and mouve shades for tops. I do wear yellow, orange, and other pretty coloured tops.Wont wear navy or choc. brown. colours.I like cross body bright coloured purses.

  21. Lisa Harr1 on February 8, 2022 at 10:24 pm

I love the periwinkle color ! It is one of my favorites and I’m happy to see it back ! I agree with you that I wish the low rise pants and the crop tops would go away, forever ! I am happy to see the bright pops of color, they are so pretty ! It was fun to go shopping with you ! Kiss Little Hurricane and enjoy your weekend ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  22. Pink Panda on February 8, 2022 at 10:28 pm

I’m glad that low-rise jeans are back. I find high-rise jeans to be extremely uncomfortable. It’s like being in a denim cage all day. Low-rise can be just slightly lower than mid-rise. I think people tend to forget that they aren’t all Britney Spears in the 90’s low. As for crop tops………those are definitely for the younger ones. I hope they enjoy them the way we did the first time around (for Gen X).

  23. sherry Pettit on February 8, 2022 at 10:28 pm

I don’y lowrise jeans and crop tops. Thanks for the video

  24. Christine Kelly-Rose on February 8, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Except for the perri blue pantone color and the red handbag it’s a hard pass for me. I don’t follow trends…I add quality pieces that suit my style and body type 🙂

  25. Pam B on February 8, 2022 at 10:30 pm

I bought a not so puffy coat this year. And I like it much better. I love periwinkle. I hope I find something in it this year. Now on to what you will never see me in. Low rise jeans and crop tops. My granddaughters can wear those things. Not my 62 year old body. I’ll keep my high rise jeans. I’m not sure about the saffron color. It’s a pretty color, but I’m not sure if it’s for me. We’ll have to see if I find anything and I don’t look washed out in it. Maybe in the summer when I have a little color.

  26. N P on February 8, 2022 at 10:31 pm

Love the format of this video.

  27. ritamary sanford on February 8, 2022 at 10:32 pm

No low rise jeans, crop tops or puffy jackets for me. I do love blue including periwinkle blue. My cat is named Periwinkle.

  28. Janet Rugenius on February 8, 2022 at 10:32 pm

Great video. Not sure if you noticed but there is a green something that flashes across the screen every so often. I also saw it on a previous video of yours – the New Years one I think. I’ve never seen that before on any of your videos or other ones. Just thought you might like to know.

  29. Diane M Gbur on February 8, 2022 at 10:35 pm

i’m with you! no puffy coats! no pheasant dresses! no heel on my tennis shoes! i do like the color of the year and low rise jeans. ty xo❤️

  30. Sandra Gray on February 8, 2022 at 10:35 pm

My Mum (Mom) calls this "menopause mauve". No women would dare wear it until they reached menopause, after that they don’t care.

  31. Janice Agnello on February 8, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Finally!!! Periwinkle is THE color of 2022! I love this color and it looks well on so many women. Thank you, Heather, for another great video. As for the low rise jeans, I really would like them to go away forever.

  32. Liam ODonovan on February 8, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Your stunning in whatever colour you wear you would look gorgeous in a bin bag you are stylish in everything you wear love you so much hope 2022 will bring you the best awesome video

  33. Cathy Hanson on February 8, 2022 at 10:37 pm

I don’t have a red purse but I do have an orange purse for the summer, I love it. Low rise jeans are not for me. I absolutely can’t stand the cropped tops, especially in the winter, it’s to cold for them but I wouldn’t wear them regardless. I do love colors, I’m not really into the neutrals even though I do have some neutrals I really just love color, it makes me happy.😄

  34. Maren Haugen on February 8, 2022 at 10:39 pm

there is a reason I purchased every pair of high waist pants I could get my hands on in the last two years! Just love your take on color and fashion. Keep going with a Hurricane!!!

  35. Deane Pennington on February 8, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Yay, love the low rise pants. Happy dance

  36. Lauri Snipes on February 8, 2022 at 10:41 pm

Those don’t look too low rise .

  37. Patricia Bond on February 8, 2022 at 10:45 pm

I love that top your wearing 😍 the style & colour really suits you xx

  38. Rachel Molina on February 8, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Again, a great uplifting video!! Thanks, Heather!!

  39. Ally Irvine on February 8, 2022 at 10:50 pm

That deep cranberry shade is definitely your colour…love it! 😍

  40. Kimberly Perrotis on February 8, 2022 at 10:52 pm

I love sneakers with some heel height, they’re more comfortable than even my comfiest boots. I’m on the short side and love getting, say, two extra inches in height.

  41. Cathy Hanson on February 8, 2022 at 10:55 pm

I love the red on you.!

  42. Autumn Green on February 8, 2022 at 10:57 pm

Nope on periwinkle, super puffy coats, low rise jeans and crop tops!

  43. Teresa Keough on February 8, 2022 at 10:57 pm

    Hi Heather,
Thanks for the mall tour. Loved you playing around with the mannequins. The color periwinkle is pretty and a color I think everyone can wear. Not everyone can or wants to wear low rise jeans and cutoff tops. Not for me. I like the less puffy coats too. Ever tried driving a car in a puffy coat? Not a comfortable ride. Many blessings and happiness, Teresa

  44. Jackie Monk on February 8, 2022 at 10:57 pm

No puffy jackets, no crop tops, no low rise jeans, no ugly peasant dresses, I truly don’t know what the designers are thinking. Those looks are nice for the 20 & under but not for me….

  45. Teresa Tillery on February 8, 2022 at 10:57 pm

Hi Heather! I am with you on the low rises and crop tops! Love all of the colors and your red blouse! -xoxo

  46. Juliet Toler on February 8, 2022 at 10:57 pm

Those peasant dresses look like nightgowns to me.😮😕

  47. Mickey Stodgetree on February 8, 2022 at 10:58 pm

Periwinkle blue and silver was my wedding colors back in the day. Still love Periwinkle blue today in my 50’s.

  48. Cheri Bachman on February 8, 2022 at 10:58 pm

I love the periwinkle blue, but as for the fashion choices, could they have found three more unflattering styles than puffy coats, low rise jeans and tummy revealing styles?

  49. Kaz baz on February 8, 2022 at 10:59 pm

In Primark in the UK it was a lilac colour that seemed ‘in’. I dont really do blue nor lilacs. My usual are black denim leggings from Romans Originals or for the summer black shorter denim leggings as I am not very good at other styles. Also I often wear black t shirts int he summer or black long sleeved tops in the winter lol. This winter I got some nice thin jumpers from Wallis in the sale and they arent too hot but they still look smart. If I find something I like enough to buy I buy a few so I dont have to think about it in the mornings I just put it on. Sounds a bit strange really but it works for me. Also cost is a factor for me. I do have some nice scalves I hang by the matching jumpers so I can grab and go. I like your red tops. I also do red occasionally. I never wear skirts but do have some brown trousers. I have a thin line padded jacket which isnt bad for puffing out. Thanks for your channel ideas great!

  50. Mary Abdel-Malik on February 8, 2022 at 11:00 pm

Nope for low rise jeans & cropped tops
