For some reason I always seem to forget to bring my ability to play the game to the course each round…

  2. The Town Drunk on November 18, 2021 at 12:52 pm

And always make sure you bring extra balls. I have guys I play with that seem to forget that golf is played with a golf ball, typically your own…..

Neil, Thanks for the great tips. You really did come up things that I would have never thought of. Thanks again.

  8. Storm Lake on November 18, 2021 at 1:04 pm

Groove brush. Best if it hangs from a lanyard.

Don’t forget a roll of toilet paper! I’ve never had to use it myself but have given it to a few friends in need after a ruff night out,

  13. Lonnie Hargrove on November 18, 2021 at 1:10 pm

Snake bite kit, bear repellant, and a compass to find your way back out of the woods. 🙂

  14. william kissane on November 18, 2021 at 1:11 pm

I make a batch of brownies the night before..and bring 8 squares with me to the course, enough to share and enough for me to nibble on say on a backed up par three tee box

  15. Matt Felt on November 18, 2021 at 1:11 pm

1st thing. 8 beer and 15 balls per 9 holes

  16. Curtis Kidd on November 18, 2021 at 1:13 pm

Insect repellent. Around here, especially in the spring and autumn, mosquitos are out in force from mid-afternoon until sundown, and even during the summer, you find them in every shady spot within a stone’s throw of water. It’s hard to concentrate on that last hole when you have a dozen fresh bites itching…

  17. Greg Branson on November 18, 2021 at 1:13 pm

    Sun cream…?

  18. Tom Forsythe on November 18, 2021 at 1:13 pm

You should wear sunscreen whether or not it’s actually sunny. Clouds don’t block the sun’s UV rays.

  19. Rick Mohr on November 18, 2021 at 1:14 pm

Cigar cutter and a lighter, for when someone brings some extra cigars.

  20. Abdullah Chil on November 18, 2021 at 1:14 pm

Pulled my waterproof top out of the bag the other day for the first time after lockdown, it stank like a skunk the day after a Guinness session.
