2000s Streetwear Fashion Starter Kit (Girbuad, Ed Hardy, LRG, AF1s)

2000s Streetwear Fashion Starter Kit (Girbuad, Ed Hardy, LRG, AF1s)

Since I started this new series on the channel of “starter kit” videos I thought I’d switch it up on the third episode and chat about the streetwear starter kit of the early and mid 2000s. This was definitely a different time period where the term “streetwear” didn’t really exist and was really defined more as “urban wear”. Some of the brands that I chat about this video are (Girbuad, Ed Hardy, LRG, Red Monkey, Evisu, AF1s, etc etc)

For some this topic can be a blast from the past and for others this can be new information. But wherever you stand, share your thoughts below and let me know if there are any brands I forgot to mention!

I’m all about the 2000’s, around me this was mostly accurate but we didnt have the jackets with all the logo patches everywhere, all the rest was pretty accurate though, I mean over here it was more the DC’s but Nike was still really popular

All the movies just show the button up over the t shirt but that’s more causal teen stuff rather than more specific

idk about you, but tall Ts and super baggy T shirts make me feel like a necromancer or a mage that creates multiple flow cadences and bars as a rapper and dj today.

I love baggy clothing and T-shirts and am girl that love comfortable clothing because I don’t like tight clothing and because it makes me uncomfortable and very very cautious I was born in 2003 and in my favourite shows are pretty much the Jem holograms and I am Beyblade G revolution which is my favourite show back then and also Arthur was popular.😊😊😊

  36. Moonlight Hunter on September 9, 2021 at 11:34 pm

    Miss the 2XL Tall tees

  37. ArmaRes on September 9, 2021 at 11:38 pm

I loved the style back then. Few years back…I still had some fits from back then. I put them on and went around like I was the shit. I feel like people were looking at me like "this dude is a real one". ahaha…at least that’s what I felt. Baggy was a staple look in hiphop for over 20years…it was iconic. Clothes were big, bright, and comfortable. You’ll never catch me in some skinny jeans. I still rock some baggy sweat pants with Timbs on my way to the gym.

  38. Anty 308 on September 9, 2021 at 11:41 pm
