When is the 1690s coming back?

  2. Jvst Kenzie on July 10, 2021 at 2:08 am

Am I the only one way too short for flare jeans? All of them are way too long.

  3. mckamy on July 10, 2021 at 2:08 am

Coming from midway through the year, these have been very accurate!

  4. bubblegumbxtch on July 10, 2021 at 2:08 am

She so far (as of June 2021) has been right about…
    – slingbacks and pumps
    – statement jewelry
    – playful jewelry taking inspo from childhood.
    – patterned hosiery
    – looser jeans
    – prints and patterns
    – less saturated colours
    – checkerboard
    – flowers
    – lavender, bubblegum pink, mint and neutrals
    – large sunglasses
    – headscarves

    This is low key amazing!

  5. Jennifer Bauch on July 10, 2021 at 2:09 am

Im halfway thru the video and still havent seen a trend I could get on board with … 🙁

  6. …. on July 10, 2021 at 2:09 am

But like can we talk about how accurate she was😆👏👏

  7. Darrion Woodall on July 10, 2021 at 2:10 am

Extrapolating on this I think western wear is going to see a resurgence in this decade. I know it already had a bit of a moment but I think next time around we’re going to see 70’s vintage western wear and stage fashions of 60/70’s country artists

  8. valentina on July 10, 2021 at 2:10 am

fringes are so ugly, they make a good look so few times…

  9. jordana colombaroli on July 10, 2021 at 2:12 am

i want a fringe jacket because of Hope from Booksmart. she looks hot

  10. valentina on July 10, 2021 at 2:12 am

seeing that vintage is so popular and trends always comeback, i think "i should save all my things", but then i take in count it will be more years in a box than in my closet soooo

  11. Douglas Griffiths on July 10, 2021 at 2:15 am

I have a royal blue and black checkerboard/stripe combo jacket that is a real jockey silk. I wear it all the time, and get lots of compliments on it. It has a matching hat that has a large pattern checkerboard–a helmet cover, really. They are from a racing stable that changed their colors. (Jan Griffiths).

  12. Rose Lalonde on July 10, 2021 at 2:17 am

*hey, small nit picky thing, just say Pete Mondriaan. Piet is the Dutch version of the name Pete, and is pronounced similarly. I’m not sure how someone comes up with “Pijeht”, but Pete is more accurate and still easy to pronounce”

  13. Emma. Robinson on July 10, 2021 at 2:17 am

Ok but why have most of these already become trends…

  14. Poema Durigan on July 10, 2021 at 2:19 am

    wow you got it

  15. Angel Hazell on July 10, 2021 at 2:21 am

9:06 shimmer tights are what give celebrities that poreless finish, and they’ve been around for decades

  16. Christine on July 10, 2021 at 2:21 am

So dress like Trixie Mattel, got it.

  17. cakewatcher on July 10, 2021 at 2:22 am

Yes, I do think you missed something huge and important! It’s easy not to realize this if you’re a regular sized person but most of the trends and pretty much all of the 60s were most definitely NOT size inclusive. That being said, this is the fashion season where we’ll see a big split in trends. There will be defined and celebrated trends specifically designed and flattering to the plus size figure. Flare jeans, certain mini skirts, and definitely those boxy dresses (even quite a bit of lwds) and even halters don’t work for the majority of plus size figures. There will, of course, be plus sized individuals wearing them but what is missing is the trends and designs that specifically keep a plus sized silhouette in mind.

Now, more than ever before, the plus size community have a voice, representation and heck, simply cute clothes. People forget plus sized individuals did not have ready to wear clothing in the 60s and even 80s. The clothing had to be hand or custom made/ordered, or people were left in mumus or tight, too-small clothes. These days there are ready to wear clothes in every size, even extremely large.

  18. ella :3 on July 10, 2021 at 2:22 am

hey just letting you know: piet mondriaan’s first name is pronounced the same as pete 🙂

  19. gm kar on July 10, 2021 at 2:23 am

I can get on board with these.

  20. Ki telf on July 10, 2021 at 2:26 am

I mean colar did come back

  21. Aishwarya on July 10, 2021 at 2:26 am

i’m seeing the peter pan collar look everywhere-

  22. phatpussytingz on July 10, 2021 at 2:27 am

    YOU WERE RIGHT PLS

  23. Jess on July 10, 2021 at 2:28 am

i’m watching this the day taylor swift announced her re-recording of RED, and i suspect that this will contribute to your prediction about high/heeled oxfords coming true. oxfords were a staple in taylor’s wardrobe in 2013-2013, when the album was released originally, so it makes sense that they would make a comeback as she begins promoting the new version.

  24. Hoe Bitch on July 10, 2021 at 2:28 am

When will we bring ball gowns BACK

  25. Milena Garcia on July 10, 2021 at 2:32 am

I’m antsy for the sixties comeback, which is already here. It’s so fun and avant-garde. I’m ready to look like Austin Powers.
About the stockings, Versace has already started this trend. It’s that cute dress, stockings with texture and the Bratz high heels. All in the same color.

  26. M C on July 10, 2021 at 2:32 am

I’m suprised the fashion industry hasn’t tried to bring back simplified or exact replicas of the 1700 & 1800s🤔

  27. QueenAJO910 on July 10, 2021 at 2:36 am

    So far she’s going strong

  28. merit cnossen on July 10, 2021 at 2:36 am

Brown jacket, white croptop, flared pants with brown zebra print? Idk

  29. baby cakes on July 10, 2021 at 2:39 am

am I the only one who doesn’t like the style??? I dunno it’s just not my thing. These fashion trends look horrendous.

  30. weightycarlos on July 10, 2021 at 2:40 am

For Kpop fans, I think mostly 2020 comebacks like Apink, Gfriend, Twice, etc.

  31. muscular 2014 on July 10, 2021 at 2:43 am

Wished she did videos on mens fashion trends.

  32. Kenzie Chase on July 10, 2021 at 2:44 am

I just did a forecast for my fashion trends analysis class and I also predicted statement jewelry and colored tights!

  33. Alessia Croft on July 10, 2021 at 2:45 am

70’s hippie is coming back and I love it so much, all the WLD and flowy white shirt with flares and the dresses, getting stoned and acoustic guitar and peace and love posters in orange psychedelic style writing, and the whole of young Donna in Mamma Mia 2, it’s such a vibe.

  34. Alyssa on July 10, 2021 at 2:46 am

wow you guessed a lot right!

  35. elizabeth eagle on July 10, 2021 at 2:47 am

you know what I always loved? flannels. sorry not sorry.

  36. Lara Saikali on July 10, 2021 at 2:48 am

I loooove animal print, sequins, fringes, and bold prints I’m glad they are making a comeback in 2021.

  37. Emma Alyse Curry on July 10, 2021 at 2:48 am

Okay but why was my favourite shot of this whole video the clip of Melbourne at 2:46

  38. Kari Linn on July 10, 2021 at 2:49 am

Longaberger basket! That’s in my state. It’s gone out of business, but the basket still stands

  39. polly lane on July 10, 2021 at 2:51 am

i feel like checkerboard had a moment in like 2018 with “indie kids”, i know i still have a lot of checkerboard stuff left over from that so i hope i can integrate it back into my wardrobe lol

  40. lemonti on July 10, 2021 at 2:52 am

paisley has yet to come back but i hope it doesnt because its simply the most hideous pattern to ever be created. its the most old lady pattern to ever exist it looks like it smells like must

  41. Douglas Griffiths on July 10, 2021 at 2:54 am

As far as jeans go, I’ll stick with my Levi’s button fly 501s. Can’t go wrong there. I have 15 pairs—most from the 80s. I never got skinny jeans—never liked them, even though I probably would look good in them. I’m tall and skinny—5’11" and 137 pounds. (Jan Griffiths).

  42. Julia Davis on July 10, 2021 at 2:55 am

Literally wearing blue stockings as I watch this video, lol

  43. Lauren Heck on July 10, 2021 at 2:56 am

coming back half way through the year it amazes me how accurate this is

  44. Olivia Toivanen on July 10, 2021 at 2:57 am

    NOTHING TIES TOGETHER SOMEHOW 😫

  45. Anastasia Victoria on July 10, 2021 at 2:57 am

I believe that a dark wash well fitting jean isn’t that bad for light wash jeans I think wide legs is preferred

  46. Z on July 10, 2021 at 2:59 am

Please can we bring grunge/rock fashion back for good. Leather jackets boots ripped jeans god it is so great

  47. Zoe on July 10, 2021 at 2:59 am

I was looking at maternity clothes since I am outgrowing my current clothes and, yikes. I saw skinny jeans and I used to LOVE skinny jeans as of this winter, but I was so disgusted by them. But now I’ve been loving the mom jean/straight leg sort of jeans. I’m still obsessed with platforms so I’m glad they’re still trendy.

  48. Milena Caro on July 10, 2021 at 3:04 am

stevie nicks is my current fashion inspiration– shes an undeniable icon

  49. Bushido on July 10, 2021 at 3:04 am

This video is so aesthetically pleasing

  50. Munazza on July 10, 2021 at 3:04 am

more than 6 months into 2020 and fuck this prediction is so accurate
