I love the blazer look with tees. How to do if one is an hourglass-inverted v body shape?

  2. Ruth Torphy on January 3, 2022 at 4:05 pm

I’ll need to rethink my yard sale. I was just about to get rid of some graphic t’s and blazers🙏

  3. Patricia Bond on January 3, 2022 at 4:06 pm

I just got myself some straight leg jeans & a black blazer! Yay I’m getting there 😅 I need to find some of those shoes though I’m in UK so can you recommend an online store please? Love your videos thanks so much for them 😍

  4. Diane Thompson on January 3, 2022 at 4:06 pm

Hello Kay! I need your thoughts on wearing fur boots. I am 56 and love wearing fur boots. I wore Ugg Fluff Mommas in my thirties. I now own more refined versions from Pajar and Oscar. But, they are still very statement making to say the least. I do pair them with classic coats, sweaters and jackets to tone them down. What do you think? Should they be retired and donated?
    Thank you.

  5. Diane Puskas on January 3, 2022 at 4:10 pm

I’ve been wearing white K-Swiss sneakers to work during the summer. They are comfortable and sensible – I literally run for trains and walk through city street – and now I found out that they are fashionable. Who knew? Glad I always wear no show socks as well. Thanks for the video!

  6. Evelyne Spoons on January 3, 2022 at 4:11 pm

I live in the south now so I don’t wear as many jackets, sweaters or blazers as I used to when I was living in a cooler northern state but when weather permits I LOVE wearing ‘em!!

  7. Greta Klug on January 3, 2022 at 4:12 pm

Not loving this whole sneakers thing. Would rather have a classic loafer.

  8. Juanita June on January 3, 2022 at 4:13 pm

WHAT about hair trend styles for women over 50…love your advices

  9. Resse Shihata on January 3, 2022 at 4:15 pm

  12. Evelyn Serrano on January 3, 2022 at 4:18 pm

  13. willowwillow1969 on January 3, 2022 at 4:20 pm

I am loving the blazers, however, need help in determining the fit. I already wear jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers often. I don’t want to look box-y. What about the length? I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.

  14. Sunshine4 Days on January 3, 2022 at 4:21 pm

Thanks so much for helping us with this!! Have had such a hard time to figure out what I should be wearing!!

  15. pippinhill on January 3, 2022 at 4:21 pm

What brand are the platform sneakers you are wearing? I couldn’t find them in the suggestion box.

  16. Karol Molpus on January 3, 2022 at 4:21 pm

Hard to find a blazer to fit….5’1" chubby😎

  17. Daphne Lackington on January 3, 2022 at 4:23 pm

I love straight legged jeans in every color, especially black and dark blue. I never have liked t-shirts, I prefer a nice blouse, it looks much more elegant. I love fashion sneakers in white, soft gold and silver. Love blazers over jeans.

  18. Polly Porter -Campbell on January 3, 2022 at 4:23 pm

    Great tips.

  19. Ellen Brown on January 3, 2022 at 4:25 pm

    Dresses, always dresses.

  20. lu bc on January 3, 2022 at 4:26 pm

Great start about the straight leg jeans and ankle crop. But then showing images of ragged unfinished hem cropped much higher, it’s back to chasing fads.

  21. Lauri Snipes on January 3, 2022 at 4:26 pm

I’m so over looking youthful. But I still like your channel.

  22. Sheri Kennedy on January 3, 2022 at 4:27 pm

no way am i wearing jeans. ever. have not worn them for years…they are hideous. however, i will take the rest of the advice which i am actually already doing. i DO wear straight leg pants, just not in denim. gawd i cannot stand those. lol.

  23. aspecialangel16 on January 3, 2022 at 4:27 pm

My legs and bottom are smaller than my waist.Bottom half gets so lost in relaxed fit yikes always stuck in it and skinny jeans I’m tired of

  24. R Olson on January 3, 2022 at 4:28 pm

Excellent video, Kay! I’m excited to try all three of these! Thanks so much for helping me look ‘on point’!

  25. Judy Mitchell on January 3, 2022 at 4:30 pm

    Hate the fringe hem!

  26. Tammie Parrish Miller on January 3, 2022 at 4:31 pm

Kay, My problem is the so called "mid-rise" which is still fit like a hi-rise on me. I must have a shorter torso. I’ve been through that mom jean era as you have as well, and I just DO NOT like them. I’d rather have a low-rise, and they are impossible to find. I did actually find some boyfriend jeans with a low-rise from Zappos but they are too small. Ugh! You, however, can seem to pull off any outfit and make it look like a million bucks! Thanks for the inspiration which I did get with the blazers and the tennis shoes. Take care!

  27. Janice Graham on January 3, 2022 at 4:32 pm

Nice look. All my old blazers are more fitted. I don’t know if I would look good in the oversized ones. I will try some on! Thanks Kay. God bless.

  28. Bonnie Benz on January 3, 2022 at 4:32 pm

Recently bought a pair of fashion sneakers. I bought keds, white leather. Love them ! Also can’t wait for cooler temps here in Phoenix to wear my jeans, t shirt and a blazer. Gotta wait till at least November lol !

  29. Karol Molpus on January 3, 2022 at 4:33 pm

Wit & Wisdom is great jean!

  30. Lois Horan on January 3, 2022 at 4:35 pm

Don’t forget that if you own a pair of scissors, you can create your own raw hem jeans. Just run them thought the wash. Also, your blazer will look super fresh if you push up the sleeves. Just just a jumbo sized hair elastic to hold them in place and fluff the fabric over the elastic and they won’t budge all day!

  31. Mary O'Keefe on January 3, 2022 at 4:35 pm

Love the green on you, Kay. So pretty.

  32. Ragdoll Libby on January 3, 2022 at 4:38 pm

Thank you sooooo much for talking about style possibilities rather than ‘things NOT to wear over 50’. What a breath of fresh air, Kay!! And, I love all of these pieces and wear them all too. I don’t wear a blazer in the hot months but, I have used a light kimono instead.

  33. Connie Murphy on January 3, 2022 at 4:38 pm

they were out of the tennis shoes 🙁

  34. Liz Walker on January 3, 2022 at 4:40 pm

Hi Kay, I am a new subscriber and after watching your straight leg jean video, I just ordered the JCrew…straight leg jeans. I am not a flat shoe person..need a bit of heel for balancing my knee problem, so just found a pair of Everlane platform sneakers on sale. Thanks for your encouraging words and great videos👍…Liz

  35. Chrissen Gemmill on January 3, 2022 at 4:42 pm

Love my Levi Wedgies so much, I have three pairs in different colours! Everlane has some nice straight leg jeans, like the Cheeky Straight.

I wore NYDJ for years. They fitted like tailored to me …"proudly made in the US". They’re not cheap, but were worth their price. And then suddenly…they were made in Asia and had another fitting, too narrow at the waist, broader hips etc. I don’t by them anymore. Greetings from Germany.

  38. Diana Cortes on January 3, 2022 at 4:44 pm

You can also try Gloria Vanderbilt jeans they’re so nice fitting!

  39. Barbara Koch on January 3, 2022 at 4:44 pm

What type of fashion sneakers are comfortable for people who cannot wear flat shoes with no arch

  40. DML-R on January 3, 2022 at 4:47 pm

Love your videos. Would you please suggest a tshirt brand non-see-through please. Thank you💖

  41. Susan Johnson on January 3, 2022 at 4:49 pm

    Cute tips, Kay!
You gave me the giggles about feeling silly in a new look, lol 😉!!
Now I just need to drop extra lbs that I’ve picked up recently to fit a cute blazer I have for fall and winter ❄️!!! Plenty of tees and jeans☺️. Need those cute shoes, too!
Thanks for showing us your many cute looks! 🤗🤗🤗 -Susan ♥️

  42. Dawn Frye on January 3, 2022 at 4:50 pm

Yes I think I need to swap out my cardigans for some blazers 👍

  43. Noolie62 on January 3, 2022 at 4:52 pm

Hi Kay, yeh been dressing like this all my life! But I’m glad you are highlighting how great it looks, on everyone! You know what gets my goat though? I get accused of dressing up too much! 😂 even though my personal formula has always been no more than three pieces per outfit! So funny. Xx

  44. Dinny Kelly on January 3, 2022 at 4:53 pm

Thanks Kay . I’m in Australia and although we can’t get the same brands you have in the states, I like to take what you show on your videos on board and look for similar items over here. By the way, you are adorable

  45. Grammi Gram on January 3, 2022 at 4:53 pm

I LOVE my Talbots and Chico’s straight leg jeans!

  46. Janice Graham on January 3, 2022 at 4:55 pm

Will try the knit ones too. I think I don’t wear my blazers much because even though they look good they are not comfortable. Would like to get the look plus the comfort! Knits are a good idea. They look sharp.

  47. bamboolaceway on January 3, 2022 at 4:55 pm

Hi Kay! Thank you so much for this and your other videos I just recently discovered your channel. With the pandemic, I’ve sadly set my own needs aside in favor of other things. Your videos remind me that it’s all right to take care of myself.

  48. Enmeline Diaz on January 3, 2022 at 4:56 pm

Loved it. I will definitely try it. I love blazers, t shirts

  49. Christy Arbogast on January 3, 2022 at 4:57 pm

Six months ago I was looking at Addidas "Stan Smiths". They were the style I wanted, but a bit spendy. I found Naturalizer "Morrison", white leather, low sneakers, on clearance at Nordstrom. The heal is taupe suede that goes with everything. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever purchased. I’m 62, with MS and Rheumatoid Arthritis, so the cushy insole is a wish come true! Now, if I can find more, I’ll buy a lifetime supply.

  50. Gisele Smith on January 3, 2022 at 4:58 pm

I have been wearing Levi 505 straight leg jeans for several years now. They have some stretch and look modern. Also, Old Navy has a straight leg raw edge jean that won’t break the bank. I have a white pair of leather Reeboks I found in the closet, in the box, new (!) and wondered if they would still work for a casual sneaker without looking dated….
