6 Fashion Trends That Are Over In 2021
Fashion trends come and go but in today’s video I’ve decided to focus on some hot trends that are on their way out. So if you’re the type of person who tends to wait before jumping on a new trend then this video will hopefully help you make any costly fashion mistakes. As always if I mention something that you wear and love then great. I truly believe fashion is there to make us look and feel good so if it does that for us then it’s worth wearing in my book.

Thanks for watching and see you all in the next one.

Animal Print will always be in. It’s a staple! Similar to lace!

  2. Catherine Ward on May 28, 2021 at 8:19 pm

    wow! hubby hot as hell!

  3. Lora Price on May 28, 2021 at 8:19 pm

Can’t stand distressed jeans. Can’t wait until they are gone.

  4. Eileen Nielsen on May 28, 2021 at 8:27 pm

I hate the jeans with holes, distressed, CHUNKS missing, under-wear showing. So I am thrilled they are leaving and I hope never come back unless a street person might need a pair.

  5. Pippinhill Haviland on May 28, 2021 at 8:27 pm

    Animal print is pure kitch

  6. weruleyoudrool on May 28, 2021 at 8:28 pm

Distressed has been going strong for like over 5 years now…

  7. Rayna Somers on May 28, 2021 at 8:30 pm

Tennis skirts are really on trend right now (they fall into mini skirt territory). I also believe mini skirts are more for teenagers/people in their twenties and longer skirts for a bit of older women. As a teenager longer skirts look a bit off on me

  8. Christina Knapp on May 28, 2021 at 8:31 pm

I agree with the mini skirt for sure. I just think it’s tacky and less you are a very young girl and you’re wearing flip-flops or a cute pair of sandals! There’s nothing worse than seeing someone in their 40s 50s 60s and on up in a mini skirt! My sister wears one all the time in the summer and she’s in her 60s and it looks absolutely ridiculous

  9. Payton Ward on May 28, 2021 at 8:32 pm

    I love your accent

  10. iPaused on May 28, 2021 at 8:36 pm

About two months ago, I bought a thick knit cardigan with an exaggerated collar and I love it to pieces. I don’t care if it’s going out of trend, Imma keep wearing it! 😎

  11. gunda briggs on May 28, 2021 at 8:36 pm

thank god the distressed jeans are out. I never understood that trend

  12. marisella tresiana on May 28, 2021 at 8:36 pm

Leonie, animal prints are CLASSICS in Italy…maculata or leopard prints are always a welcome sight every season. We were them in scarves or ankle boots peeping from your jeans.

  13. Kelsey T on May 28, 2021 at 8:37 pm

Hahah I bought a wrap skirt back in 2015 and it went out of style. Glad I held onto it!

  14. Stella Marie on May 28, 2021 at 8:37 pm

I really feel like floral balloon sleeves should go out of style. No one really looks good in the them.

  15. Christina Knapp on May 28, 2021 at 8:37 pm

I really don’t agree with any of this personally… I think you should wear what you like and looks looks good on you and who cares about the trends! Animal print will never go out of style! It’s been in style since 40s and is here to stay forever and I love a good distressed Jean and it will always be in my arsenal along with collars all kinds of colors!

  16. Tara Rose on May 28, 2021 at 8:38 pm

I think the thing about animal print is it might stop being considered trendy, but people will always be wearing it.

  17. Morgan on May 28, 2021 at 8:39 pm

I wouldn’t quite say as a 22-year old that baggy jeans are changing the distressed jean trend in my college town. People, myself included, are buying many baggy pairs covered in rips lol. Also, you’re one of the only fashion trend YouTubers I’ve watched saying that about animal print. A different one I watch who you matched a lot with your views on other stuff but she said even wilder animal prints are coming so very different views on that haha

  18. Payton Ward on May 28, 2021 at 8:41 pm

I will never stop wearing distressed jeans

  19. Phyllis Fisher on May 28, 2021 at 8:42 pm

I think I would do the opposite of everything said here, sans the overly distressed jeans……

  20. Alexia Rouse on May 28, 2021 at 8:43 pm

Wear whatever you want.🥰As long as your happy that is all that matters!💖💖💖🥰

  21. Annie Dom on May 28, 2021 at 8:43 pm

I don’t think worn out jeans will ever go out of style to be honest. I never got into animal print so… c’est la vie

  22. Shaunie L on May 28, 2021 at 8:44 pm

I agree! My fave print 😆

  23. Marron222 on May 28, 2021 at 8:45 pm

I couldnt live without my mini-skirts…!

  24. pink glitter4 on May 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

Distressed denim will never go out of style!!! It brings a cool edge to a simple outfit!! In my opinion!!!

  25. Skiniologist on May 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

Animal Prints are timeless pieces not a trend 🐯 🦓 🦁

  26. Cristina Avalos on May 28, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I love distressed jeans but not too over the top but i have a little bit off all jeans 👖 and also some flare jeans

  27. Krick Krick on May 28, 2021 at 8:48 pm

Whenever I see somebody with ripped jeans i always think they look like homeless people.

  28. Madeline on May 28, 2021 at 8:49 pm

more like, trends that weren’t popular in the first place, and miniskirts are gorgeous but shouldn’t be worn by "older" women. animal print is great when not overdone

  29. Candice Summers on May 28, 2021 at 8:49 pm

So over distressed jeans and I hope leopard print takes some time off. Love it was can’t wear it now.

  30. Haven Blair on May 28, 2021 at 8:51 pm

Animal print is never going out of style

  31. claudia delgado on May 28, 2021 at 8:54 pm

i am happy and makes me look younger

  32. Maria Colls on May 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

I remember ripped jeans from the grunge era during the 90s. Terrible then, awful now. lol. 🙂

  33. Tay Original on May 28, 2021 at 8:56 pm

I absolutely love my distressed jeans and animal print. Especially Leopard.

  34. Małgosia D. on May 28, 2021 at 8:58 pm

I didn’t expect to hear about single split skirt, it’s so feminine and suits so many styles, I’m not really bothered though and still gonna wear it. Good news to me about those jeans though 😏 And last thing is I wouldn’t be so sure about animal print, i think it’s timeless

  35. Plippy :p on May 28, 2021 at 8:59 pm

people should wear whatever they wants its the goddamn pandemic! no one cares!!!!!!!!!!
this is why Gen z fashion chouce will be totally nuts we go mad max lol

  36. Robin Smith on May 28, 2021 at 8:59 pm

Thanks for your thoughts! I think animal prints are timeless and also, I just bought a pair of relaxed jeans with just a few holes. I think I will wear them longer than the average person. I’m always looking for things a little edgy since I am a performer so I think I can get away with it a while longer!

  37. mirna f on May 28, 2021 at 8:59 pm

I’m more worried about high waist going out of style as I keep hearing super low waist is coming back. Can we please organize a massive demonstration/ protest??? 😅

  38. Lulu Saad on May 28, 2021 at 9:00 pm

I’ve been waiting for Victorian collars for years. I might stick to fast fashion versions.

  39. Jennifer MK on May 28, 2021 at 9:01 pm

The blouse she’s wearing is so ugly

  40. Luca on May 28, 2021 at 9:02 pm

I will never stop wearing my animal print mini skirts and distressed jeans! Following trends and wearing clothes you dislike isn’t good for the heart 🙂

  41. Judith Jensen on May 28, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Happy to see worn torn jeans go…but being older than you and having seen and studied personal style all my life…any and all of the rest of your "outs" I disagree….they have been part of icon style and shouldn’t be considered "fashion" at all.

  42. Khatijah Will on May 28, 2021 at 9:06 pm

I still love animal print so who cares about the trend 😆

  43. Mary S on May 28, 2021 at 9:07 pm

    I’m not gonna stop lol

  44. Saige Slack on May 28, 2021 at 9:09 pm

I would consider your current outfit out of style. But I get this stuff is controversial

  45. Sherry Edwards on May 28, 2021 at 9:13 pm

Back in the ’80’s my mother-in-law gave me a really beautiful white eyelet dickie with that kind of huge colour. It never really was my style and I never wore. However, I have kept it all of these years because it was special and still is. Nice to see they are trending again but I still don’t think I will be wearing it.
I’ve never liked the holey distressed bluejeans. What’s the point of buying something new and it’s shredded. Then in the Summer of 2019 my friend got pair. Slowly over the months more of my friends started getting them. Last year 2020 I finally bought a pair. But with Covid and not going anywhere I never got a chance to wear them. And when I tried them on this year they are too tight because of my Covid weight gain. So that was good money spent. I won’t be able to wear them this year. But I am glad they are going out.

  46. dwysan on May 28, 2021 at 9:13 pm

I have such an issue with paying for ripped denim, I hate it! So glad when I can go online again and see whole intact jeans

  47. Lori Davis on May 28, 2021 at 9:15 pm

I have never cared for the square toe

  48. Cheyenne Sutton on May 28, 2021 at 9:16 pm

I am not giving up my animal prints. Zebra print is my favorite. I never liked large Victorian collars. I have always hated the ripped jeans trend. It is not a good look.

  49. Cindy Van der Houven on May 28, 2021 at 9:17 pm

I’m a big fan of joggings looking like regular pants 😂

  50. SonDae Knight on May 28, 2021 at 9:17 pm

I cant stand super distressed jeans. its so hard to find jeans without rips and holes these days lol
