    Hey Levi’s,
Getting Mr Smith to tell us poor people to buy longer lasting clothes is actually pretty offensive.
Smith wears 2 different gendered outfits a day and I wear the same work pants 3 days running.
If anyone needs to buy less clothing, it’s the elites, not those of us who can barely afford excess clothes to begin with.
Make a commercial that shows the people who actually wear your product, smith isn’t one of them

Hah hah, conveniently targeting middle and lower-class ethnic groups. Try to well that “buy less, consume less” shit to rich kids and celebrities 🙄 Of course, like with global warming scares and recycling, 7min. Showers and the use of LED lights instead of incandescent. These messages are not for the rich and powerful but for the poor and middle classes. The rich and famous are not dropping their lifestyles of abundance for anything

  4. Ginger beard on November 8, 2021 at 11:56 am

Vary hypocritical.. Levi’s are made in China, and China pollutes the planet more than the U.S.A.

  5. Olavo Fernandes on November 8, 2021 at 11:57 am

Levis jeans = Woke jeans 😂😂😂😂😂

  6. Jeff Mellor on November 8, 2021 at 11:57 am

Clothing consumption increased. Ok but they don’t mention how cheaply shit is made these days PLUS population steadily increases too but they don’t factor in that

No offense, but another good story of commercializing SUSTAINABILITY.

Trying to make up a fake crisis to sell your products. This pisses me off. This company deserves to be stolen from.

  10. Your Mom on November 8, 2021 at 12:02 pm

I was tripping on acid and saw this commercial this weekend. My
Mind couldn’t handle the idiocy of a rich kids son who flies around in a private jet telling me to buy less clothes for a Levi commercial.

  11. Ed M on November 8, 2021 at 12:03 pm

Levi’s understands we live in a short term memory social media world, just another campaign to buy more. By next year the message of this commercial will be completely forgotten and on to the next marketing strategy. A proactive move by Levi’s would be dramatically decreasing their actual options of jeans, jackets, shirts, etc. since it’s going to “last longer”. But of course not that hurts sales, duh.

  12. jennifer m. on November 8, 2021 at 12:04 pm

as a person that tends to make sure to use my jeans for a while and not keep buying jeans i believe using a celebrity is the most idiotic thing and out of touch to reality, guess using celebrities and influencers in advertisements are more important than having logic now in days.

  13. Erin Cara on November 8, 2021 at 12:05 pm

Just saw your sustainability advert. The fact is, your quality has gone so far down that jeans I had 25 years ago, have maintained there shape and colour better than Levi’s jeans bought a year ago.
Stop compromising on quality and selling jeans at a low price. Increase the price and quality and we won’t have to buy double the amount!

  14. Hung Nguyen on November 8, 2021 at 12:05 pm

the way they hide the "buy less" lmao

  15. Andrew KravMaga on November 8, 2021 at 12:07 pm

Levi’s looks like they’re just selling us reused clothes for retail price. What the fuck is this? How has style trended towards looking poor?

  16. havikcory15 on November 8, 2021 at 12:07 pm

What’s the music’s title name for this commercial? I like it!

  17. Dzul Gas on November 8, 2021 at 12:07 pm

Jayden Smith is a sellout and we the same age. So sad to see

  18. Kyle Johnson on November 8, 2021 at 12:08 pm

I’ll buy better when I can actually afford $70 Levi’s

  19. Sauer Bratt on November 8, 2021 at 12:08 pm

  24. King Smoker on November 8, 2021 at 12:13 pm

Levis was like look guys we need to make this ad as diverse as possible, We must pander and we must show we are not racist 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  27. Daren Miller on November 8, 2021 at 12:19 pm

And they sell brand new jeans distressed with holes in them….

  28. CurMutt Gem on November 8, 2021 at 12:21 pm

Does Levis care if I can pay my rent? Hell no! I’m seeing to it that I won’t be some poor chump who buys expensive, designer clothing but can’t feed my family.

  29. David-Obi Holman on November 8, 2021 at 12:21 pm

    What’s this instrumental?

  30. Night Shiin on November 8, 2021 at 12:22 pm

    Spend more, wear less 😂

  31. Chuck Cassada on November 8, 2021 at 12:24 pm

So let me understand your shareholder and board of directors are ok with people buy less of your product, which means less income, which means less profit, which means laying people off and closing stores??? Let me know how that works out for you in about two years. I’m assuming whoever came up with this ad campaign did it for free and is not charging Levi??

  32. nfl20 on November 8, 2021 at 12:24 pm

    What’s the song!??

  33. Dizzy Neurin on November 8, 2021 at 12:26 pm

    Trash ad

  35. iPoised on November 8, 2021 at 12:28 pm

I need the background music for this commercial

  36. HermitYT on November 8, 2021 at 12:33 pm

So much wrong with this ad. Want us to buy "better" so we can wear longer and not "hurt" the enviroment. The thing is that Levi’s is not better, they are also so pricey that people have no choice but to buy cheaper. Also, Marcus Rashford at the end sounds like a right derp.

  37. Giovanni Carbonaro on November 8, 2021 at 12:34 pm

They just single handedly ended American consumerism

  38. Mikael on November 8, 2021 at 12:37 pm

  39. nac on November 8, 2021 at 12:38 pm

This commercial is so painfully ironic

  40. Mr. X on November 8, 2021 at 12:38 pm

No way in hell the like to dislike ratio is accurate. "We’re gonna preach to you about an issue we created…" You deserve to go out of business.

  45. CurMutt Gem on November 8, 2021 at 12:43 pm

I grew up with very little. Never had a stylish wardrobe and was mocked for it. Now things are different with online retailers like Shein. Because the clothing is so much less expensive to manufacture today, even the poorest of us can afford to buy new clothing every season, and at least we don’t have to look "poor."

It’s tone-deaf to be told that "we" should buy less whilst the ultra-rich and powerful Hollywood elites barely wear a pair of underwear more than once. Do they not realize that "we" like to be stylish too? Or is being stylish, and having a closet bigger than most living rooms, reserved only for celebrities? Truly f___ing insulting.

They can all f__k off – I’m going to continue to buy affordable clothes from Shein because I like having new and fashionable clothing too and the money I save is invested in stocks.

  46. subaru wrx on November 8, 2021 at 12:45 pm

Are prices going to be cheaper tho?

  47. A Shn on November 8, 2021 at 12:46 pm

I’m really not a person who cares too much about the identity of the brand but this ad right here is the most disingenuous crap I have seen in a while. Will be avoiding Levi’s for sure. They really think we are fools with this ad.

  48. Pelayo Muñoz Picazo on November 8, 2021 at 12:48 pm

its not saying buy less. its saying buy better so it last longer and therefore you will end up buying less as a consequence. however i just came here to say people get fat and lose weight so they will still need to keep buying. even if the quality is better. Get off my Hulu Ads
