Crochet shoe accessory tutorial. Fun and simple shoe saddles

Saddle up cowgirl!

These are not your regular crochet booties!

Shoe Saddles are a fun accessory that can serve many purposes from changing the look of your shoe, to solving the annoying problem of your shoes falling out every time you take a step.

I came up with this fun idea and have had a great time making them. I DO GO FAST. This tutorial is not intended to teach you how to crochet. You must know the basics. If you are new to crochet I have left two links of my favorite tutorials. These guys do a great job and they form part of my favorite crochet channels. I learned to crochet on You Tube, and you can do it too! 🙂

I am not at all a pattern writing expert, but here are the simple instructions for this design. If you are interested in more tutorials featuring other designs I have done please let me know in the comment section.

Ch 20 & join at beginning stitch forming a circle
Ch1 which will count as first Sc
Sc 15
C1 & turn work
Sc 15
Repeat the last two steps until you reach about 9 rows depending on your shoe.

Strap
Please refer to the video for an idea of how to attach the straps. I feel comfortable with a chain of 60, but you do what suits you best.
