I use cereal bags inside a box of cereal also is great ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Karen Halse on January 7, 2022 at 4:19 pm

Thanks for a great tutorial… for those concerned about the "crinkle" and/or plastic, just leave it out. Someone said not to wash minky, I have no idea why not. I’ve washed it in other projects without a problem. Used it in quilts with no problem. Thanks

  4. Minnie Abbey on January 7, 2022 at 4:21 pm

Where do you get milk bags? What kind of ribbon do you use? Is it grosgrain or satin?

  5. Samantha Russell on January 7, 2022 at 4:25 pm

I’m going to attempt to make one of these but hand sew all of it due to no machine.

  12. nessa Lynn on January 7, 2022 at 4:36 pm

Thee amount of ums you said made me want to punch myself in the face. On that note I stayed and watched because the tutorial is actually good…. Work on saying um girl…. I swear if I hear it tomorrow I’m just smacking someone.

I worry about a sheet of plastic between the fabric pieces for an infant’s mouth. Sounds like a choking/suffocation hazard to me should the baby chew the piece open.

  14. Mason Dempsey on January 7, 2022 at 4:42 pm

    That’s way too many "um"s

  15. Robert Fordham on January 7, 2022 at 4:42 pm

Suffocating Plastic! Not dryer friendly! Ribbon dye likely not really good for baby to chew! This us terrible.

  16. Nana Mary Ann on January 7, 2022 at 4:43 pm

I actually couldnโ€™t see the whole video ๐Ÿ˜ฑ saying Um so many times was getting to me ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I really tried but I just couldnโ€™t

  17. Canis Amator on January 7, 2022 at 4:43 pm

I was wondering- what are those tags/ ribbons for?

  18. Christine Carrigan on January 7, 2022 at 4:43 pm

Never heard of a milk bag where do you find them?

  19. Lynn Fraizer on January 7, 2022 at 4:44 pm

Never saw such a bunch of worry warts either make the toy or forget it little baby with no teeth isn’t going to chew through that

  20. Barbara Fyfe on January 7, 2022 at 4:44 pm

I stumbled into this video today. Thank you for the idea. I have a 2 week old great grandson and he has a problem with his thumbs. He is not using them. His parents have to try and get him to grab onto things, he may even need a small operation on the skin between thumb and finger. I’m thinking this could be an aid in his physiotherapy. Thank you. I’m in Australia.

  21. Maddy Lopez on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

Great idea, was wondering if bubble wrap would also work ?

  22. linda dean smith on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

Love the video. Am in the process of making the blanket. Do you think ric rac would be a poor choice as one of the ribbons

  23. White Cobra on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

These are really nice. But now I have an idea that I can do and create for babies. Thanks for sharing your video.

  24. strawberrypiano21 on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

Great instructions, clear and to the point, super cute blanket. I’m making an Arizona State University Sun Devil tag blanket for a baby boy I watch in my home and I’m so excited! Unfortunately I have to do it all by hand stitching but it’ll be worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

  25. szelop on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

Great tutorial! Geez people! Taggies have been around for many years! Everything is sewn down & around!

  26. clau delatorre on January 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

  29. Sherry Stillwagon on January 7, 2022 at 4:48 pm

Thank you for the tutorial. I am wondering though is there any chance of choking by having the plastic inside of the taggy

  30. Pat Duffey on January 7, 2022 at 4:49 pm

I love the way you give instructions..You have things ready .and get to it ..I love people who do this instrad of talking to everyone..Wonderful job..

  31. Canis Amator on January 7, 2022 at 4:53 pm

  32. Toni Pierce on January 7, 2022 at 4:53 pm

    What is a milk bag??

  33. Teresa Macklin on January 7, 2022 at 4:55 pm

Can you tell me where there are craft shows

  34. MandalaBunny on January 7, 2022 at 4:56 pm

Shouldnโ€™t you put holes in the plastic to decrease suffocation risk? Nice diy project though

  35. Bethany Ruka on January 7, 2022 at 4:57 pm

Do you recommend washing the fabric before you sew this?

  36. Erica Bates on January 7, 2022 at 4:57 pm

Hello, this is a great idea! ๐Ÿ˜ Thank you! ๐Ÿ’• Erica x

  37. Cynthia Herrera on January 7, 2022 at 4:59 pm

You said "um" exactly 70 times in this video. Yes i counted. And you gave great clear instructions. Keep it up.

Just found your channel and was very interested in your 1998 quilt. I’m starting one and the only thing that I don’t know is how to quilt it. Did you do a video explaining how you did that. I’m so lost when it comes to that. Need some ideas. Btw that is one amazing quilt. How did you do on fair?

  41. Catarina Martins on January 7, 2022 at 5:02 pm

I learned this from someone else but you can use a chop stick to make the corners extra crispy when you turn something inside out.

  42. Kristy Huber on January 7, 2022 at 5:02 pm

So question – what foot do you use to sew these? I made my first 2 today and my first attempt sewing the pieces together did not do well. Had to get the sewn ripper out. I changed to my walking foot and that helped but still had to seam rip once more. So curious what foot you use? Ty

  43. Hati Francisco on January 7, 2022 at 5:04 pm

can you please answer Julie Grant’s question.

  44. 7459serenity on January 7, 2022 at 5:04 pm

Since you can’t iron this I’m going g to assume you can’t put it in the dryer either after washing.

  45. Alfred StClair on January 7, 2022 at 5:04 pm

Hi Nicole yes here in Ontario Canada our milk comes in a bag with three 1 litre bags in it. I have used the outer bag of the milk for taggie blankets ๐Ÿ™‚

  46. grammyn2 on January 7, 2022 at 5:05 pm

I am wondering how to wash it! Hang to dry? My biggest question is can the baby suffocate on the plastic milk bag inside? (Maybe they roll on to it – face first?) I’m not trying to be a troll, just asking! I do love how it came out, you did a great job! TFS (I am a 7th decade great grandmother that worries too much!) ๐Ÿ’•

  47. Janet McKinney on January 7, 2022 at 5:06 pm
