FASHION TRENDS FALL / WINTER 2020-2021
… with a twist, because this fall season’s fashion was presented back in January/February (i.e. before “everything that happened”). And yet the trends feel surprisingly wearable. Why? Answer in the video 🙂

I am totally in love with that green dress from Chloé (at around 8 minutes in). Wool knit? I am off searching for a video to see how it moves.

What books / authors would you recommend to someone wanting to learn more about fashion?
    Love your channel ☺️

I think we watched too much Downton Abbey, thinking we’re upstairs when we’re more likely downstairs. “just temporarily derailed aristocrats… “

U have 800+ thousand subscribers because u r very good at what u do. Congrats

Love, love, love the off white Dior dress in your Lux Lounge wear section. As a plus sized woman I rarely see things that would look good on me. I also have some beautiful Merino knits in blues, that would be oh so warm and cozy made up in a dress like that one.

  13. Harshapali Thosar on September 13, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I am muted Autumn with warm undertone, can you please help me with the best hair color and clothes colors. that will fit best to me.

  14. Inderjit Kainth on September 13, 2021 at 11:15 pm

As a inverted triangle shape with Apple shape tendencies. I’m soo happy that skinny jeans are out. High waisted wide leg pants are far more flattering on every body shape.

  15. Every Haircolor on September 13, 2021 at 11:15 pm

    love your ear piercings!

  16. gabircik on September 13, 2021 at 11:15 pm

boxy pants and fitted tops are not wearable for me as I have broader upper body with relatively slender hips. I do have my own style fitted to my body type, don’t follow the trends… as I learned from you Justine. 😉

I really enjoy your trend analysis. The voluminous shapes almost look like armour. It’s interesting how it does feel relevant up until now.

  25. Rebecca Broos on September 13, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Weird thing about this year, I haven’t been able to find a fitted wintercoat, they look like bathrobes this year 🙁

  26. Lyndsae Raleigh on September 13, 2021 at 11:26 pm

"Is this the beginning of the end of skinny pants?" Gosh, I hope so!

  27. Catrin Evans on September 13, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Thank god youtube recommend this to me its EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!

  28. Sasha on September 13, 2021 at 11:26 pm

..I have some random constructive criticism/suggestion:
Could you change the font of brand names to something more easy-to-read (and also like horizontally)? It’s really difficult for me to understand which picture you are talking about. I just kinda bend my neck, pause the video and squint at the cursive
    😅
I really like your videos, just thought that it might be helpful

  33. Linda Craig on September 13, 2021 at 11:37 pm

Hi Justine, Thank you for the nice video. Did you know you were very favorably mentions on a Threads Magazine Podcast?

  34. Ceetiguila Moreno on September 13, 2021 at 11:38 pm

I’m seeing how they are playing with the rococo era it’s quite loud example moschino on Instagram. Please be the end of skinny pants or at least the minimized noise of it. There are so many other better cuts types styles for pants.. for a start.

  35. Saima Waqar on September 13, 2021 at 11:39 pm

You reached to 8000 subscription because you know your stuff. Your clips are always contain some learning about fashion. Though I am not a fashion designer.

  36. K JM on September 13, 2021 at 11:42 pm

You have so many subscribers because your videos are just so happy and positive. Even when you show photos of really intimidating fashion, I find myself smiling and understanding a little more each time. 🤓🌻

  37. seehearlab on September 13, 2021 at 11:42 pm

I love your thoughts on fashion. Fashion is a symphony of parts from fabric, design, making, quality, more natural fibers, color. I use fashion trends a reference for silhouette, colors and less as a trendy playbook. So full pants and skinny are always in my closet to reflect my mood, or nod to current choices, or functionality. When I ride a bike casually, a skinny pant, more blouson top. With a taller heel boot, fuller pants. And the final judge is my body. I am 5’2". Proportion in silhouette and print matters. If it doesn’t enhance my body…no. I am less concerned about age appropriate. My leanings towards quality fabric, sewing are not so ‘fast fashion’ but maybe more costuming. Like 70’s today, Jil Sander tomorrow, country linen on a summer day, skinny pants moto…Congrats! Keep healthy!

Thank you, I really like your videos about fashion trends.

  41. Denise Fuentes on September 13, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Don’t know where these designers think any of us are going in these clothes. During a pandemic, I think it would make more sense to produce clothes that are worn in the house. Pajama like or house bound like. That’s all I’m buying and can’t find anything stylish.

  42. Annahita L on September 13, 2021 at 11:47 pm

    Great video. Thank you 🙏

  43. Junipanther on September 13, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Die vorgestellte, kommende Mode ist nichts für kleine Leute (Unter 1,70m). Ob man darin noch irgendeine ausgeglichene Proportion erkennt, wenn es für Otto Normalverbraucher in den Laden kommt?

  44. Maria Welling on September 13, 2021 at 11:48 pm

    Congratulations!! You’re AMAZING and ADORABLE!!

  45. Yasmin Copper on September 13, 2021 at 11:53 pm

So watching this in Jan 2021! You nailed the trends that have been in the shops. Especially as here in England the shops have only been open a short time. Please can you do a Spring round up? Thank you 😘

  46. kseniya on September 13, 2021 at 11:53 pm

I feel like a trend that was popularised by social media for this season is funky clothing. Groovy 80s/70s prints, exaggerated textures, and dramatic silhouettes. Think house of sunny. Great video, very well made :))

  47. Cassie Rabe on September 13, 2021 at 11:56 pm

I watched some of your videos. Maybe 10 vids now. I love how humble you are. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. From Philippines!! ❤ Be safe!
