As a teacher I already wear preppy looks to fit dress code, so I’ll be wearing the preppy look :))

  2. nico on December 5, 2021 at 1:59 pm

the knitwear is speaking to me but my small closet is saying that they are too big to fit in

  3. Pauline V on December 5, 2021 at 2:01 pm

Faking the language.. also it’s a man just like everyone else that is on this video ..
Pay attention alot of fakers on here…
They do also wear silicone mask, body suits…
This could be someone that plays many more characters…like a singer , actor ect …News reporter even … .
I’ve been noticing for years now ..just like other people. .
Remember when someone dies ..They can tell if the person is a man or a female..
Almost all the female singers ..are all men … Wearing silicone mask body suits…
None do get man can get pregnant..they wear moon bumps …

I think y2k designs look so cheap and tacky. Imagine how bad they’ll look as the designs filters down to the high street!😳 Having said that, I love the variety of inspiration you provide and fashion should be fun, so if it works for someone else, go for it! 👍😃💃

  5. Sue Montgomery on December 5, 2021 at 2:03 pm

There is a lot to run with there, both practical and fun. I personally love the interesting options for knitwear, trouser shape and length, grown-up preppy especially if it is subverted, and tonal or monochrome tailoring.

  6. bobinabuddy on December 5, 2021 at 2:04 pm

Great trends which look almost classic to be worn for years

  7. İrem Fırat on December 5, 2021 at 2:07 pm

Knitwear is what I want to wear and I am willing to try new wide leg pants. All the others are a pass from me. Thanks for these videos by the way they are VERY helpful.

  8. Msantos184 on December 5, 2021 at 2:09 pm

I just had a tummy tuck done. During my recuperation I’ve been watching YouTube… the latest fashion;fantasizing about what I can wear I’m so excited. I’m looking forward to the Knit returning!🙃

  9. Jeannie FromTahini on December 5, 2021 at 2:10 pm

Merci beaucoup for another great video. Your breakdown of the trends is so practical and realistic and allows us to have real fun with the themes and ideas of the season!

  10. Kathy H on December 5, 2021 at 2:11 pm

I would love to see feminine florals, bias cuts, and 1930s inspired women’s clothing! I’ve had enough of this boxy, neurotic joke style clothing

  11. bobinabuddy on December 5, 2021 at 2:12 pm

Love the absence of logos…getting soooo tiring

  12. Lara Mauss on December 5, 2021 at 2:12 pm

I would never wear anything on the pictures. Everything is to extreme or to colorful. I have knitted Cardigans made of cashmere in neutral colors and of course a non-bleached jeans, both since 20 years. Or a costume with a short Jacket. My style hardly changes, it is very classic.Overknee boots are …cheap looking in general, exeptions possible. I don’t go out in a underdress or PJ‘s. No.

  13. Rolande Theriault on December 5, 2021 at 2:13 pm

After watching as many seasons and episodes of Project Runway online during lockdown, I found sone designs pretty awful. I did like the looser pants and sweaters 😍

  14. Bethany Runyon on December 5, 2021 at 2:14 pm

I really like the school-girl and knit-wear trend. I find myself consistently drawn to historical looks, so the classic forms of the uniforms and the knits really resonate with me.

  15. FASHIONNOVA on December 5, 2021 at 2:14 pm

    Nice video

  16. evelyn baron on December 5, 2021 at 2:15 pm

I love your channel as you know but in Canada and in Brazil we are experiencing the 4th wave of the Delta variant so I don’t see despite the splendour you have presented how things will change until realistically next spring. Even in 1st world countries the price of basic food has skyrocketed: I am sure it is the same in Berlin that wonderful place where my mum was born and hidden in plain sight from the bad guys. I have to be practical: I work at home and walk everywhere with a small dog who thinks she’s quite a large one; last winter was bitterly cold and here in Canada predicted the same. I ordered a bright red faux fur mink jacket which is actually quite weather proof under ok circumstances and stout boots I ACTUALLY GOT TO TRY ON IN THE STORE caps are a warning; if problems with feet don’t buy anything on-line. I never sent things back but … so my comment usually too long , yes inspiring Justine our friend! …..

  17. Kristin Wing on December 5, 2021 at 2:15 pm

I have always been a fan of tone on tone tailoring and playing with texture vs color, but I’ve added in preppy for grown-ups this year. It’s timeless and classy but still wearable and practical.

  18. beyondmywonder on December 5, 2021 at 2:16 pm

they just all consult the wgsn for their trends nothing new there

  19. Victoria Brito on December 5, 2021 at 2:17 pm

I’ve always been afraid of fashion, but you really make it digestible! Thank you for the cute and non-condescending take!

  20. Maureen Hannivan on December 5, 2021 at 2:17 pm

How would a older mature lady who is short look good in a trench coat? Any ideas

  21. Alexandra Evans on December 5, 2021 at 2:19 pm

I love how you explain everything. However, what I would like to see is the "ski clothing" style and the colors for this upcoming ski-season. I hand knit hats and need to know the colors I should use. Your advise is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  22. K P on December 5, 2021 at 2:23 pm

Do you know the jeans hack for sizing? You open the jeans button and slip a hair tie around the button and through the button slot of the jeans. This will tighten or loosen jeans in the waist, depending on what you need. Cover by wearing a belt.

  23. FreedomBird on December 5, 2021 at 2:24 pm

What do you think of Gucci Love Parade? I really liked it and after 1,5 years in sneakers and hoodies I’m inspired to visit thriftshops again this spring to bring back my pre ldown boho style.

  24. Mariana on December 5, 2021 at 2:25 pm

y2k revival give me wide pants and colors again!

  25. Rachel Potts on December 5, 2021 at 2:26 pm

Hi Justine! I’ve been watching all of your sustainability videos and just wanted to let you know of something I’ve noticed fast fashion brands doing recently. Often when items are poor quality they will delete negative reviews. I’ve had multiple of my reviews on H&M magically disappear and when I emailed them to ask about it, they said it must have been a technical error or glitch. Not only that but often because trends move on so quickly, the items I want to review (often to say they have fallen apart) are no longer being listed on the website. It’s insane that deleting reviews is legal. What do you think?

  26. Lynn Black on December 5, 2021 at 2:27 pm

Tailored coats and jackets, I.e. Max Mara. Loved so so many. That and resort wear. If only I was going…

  27. Ann Lidslot on December 5, 2021 at 2:28 pm

HI, Thank you for putting this together. Yours, Ann

  28. FelizitasFelicis on December 5, 2021 at 2:29 pm

Joke is on the designers, here in Germany, we are almost back in lockdown again! Just kidding (well, unfortunately not really…) … Great video anyway :)!

  29. Shesus H. Nice on December 5, 2021 at 2:32 pm

I’m not a fan of cropped jeans.

  30. Jelena Pyringer on December 5, 2021 at 2:32 pm

So after Met Gala it’s obvious how good she is!

  31. sun bun on December 5, 2021 at 2:35 pm

I love the look of Lemaire

  32. Valyn McNeil on December 5, 2021 at 2:37 pm

Ahhh, lockdown – The Good – I made so many of my own unique crochet and knit pieces – glad they are a trend – now…
The Uh-ohhh – I made a bunch of sweaters and I live in a state that gets kinda cold and will be moving to a state that gets no cold (Hawai’i)…
The Hurray – Now I can experiment with lighter yarns and make cooler clothes for the beach…

  33. Astrid Eriksson Tropp on December 5, 2021 at 2:38 pm

I love that you include sustainability issues as well in your videos, and emphasize the importance of liking and feeling comfortable in your own clothes! 😊👏👏👏💚

I like the long skirts, dresses and full length trousers with a bit more space!

  34. Elena L on December 5, 2021 at 2:40 pm

Loved the video, excited to go buy some fall-winter outfits now! 🙂 I am especially looking forward to soft materials, neutral color palettes in shades of beige, and dressing from foot to toe in the same neutral color

  35. FASHIONNOVA on December 5, 2021 at 2:40 pm

    Hello Justine can we collaborate..?

  36. Denisa Dellinger on December 5, 2021 at 2:42 pm

Thank you Justine. The designers certainly are affected by what is going on in the world and I see for about the third year that we are still wearing very casual and work out wear, as I call it. I stay home a lot so these comfortable fashions would fit my lifestyle well however, I want to look good when I go out in public so I own lots of nice outfits.

  37. Eowyn's Pride on December 5, 2021 at 2:43 pm

    Knits, sweater dresses!!!🥰

  38. Elle on December 5, 2021 at 2:44 pm

Never giving up my skinny jeans!

  39. A Dugan on December 5, 2021 at 2:44 pm

Thank you…..You are the best person I know to present intelligent information about fashion trends as a whole..comparing houses/designers.…..I learn so very much from you…..For me it is risky to combine colors that are jarring or shocking to be worn together. Somehow it makes me uncomfortable but the models seem to be able to carry it off……I ADORE Monochrome knit!…..

  40. Grad Lib on December 5, 2021 at 2:46 pm

No reflection on you as the reporter, but every single one of these was horrific. I’ll keep what I own and wait for something better.

  41. Bethany Elise on December 5, 2021 at 2:48 pm

    Anything but crop tops 😂

  42. Mimi Adhikary on December 5, 2021 at 2:49 pm

I love your humor so much. 🙂❤️

  43. A Viewer on December 5, 2021 at 2:49 pm

You are in desperate need of a cut and deep condition.

  44. Gaelle on December 5, 2021 at 2:53 pm

Anything but Y2K and mini’s ( Been there Done that and looked bloody amazing the first time around ) However could make an exemption for camo pants with lots of pockets this time with a high waist and also goth pant skirts with loads of pockets and adjustable everything, now if we could full length pant skirts with the tenniskirt wrap thing or Hakama trousers ….feeling a very Japanese, vietnamese look coming on but perhaps n mix with more goth but wearable with volume/ flow and adjustable in size. ( after all we are in the roaring 20’s again 😉

  45. Bel Bush on December 5, 2021 at 2:53 pm

What I see is the designers are all over the place😳

  46. patricia stewart on December 5, 2021 at 2:54 pm

    It’s 84 degrees here

  47. Sybil Francis on December 5, 2021 at 2:54 pm

@Tbe 80s preppy style was how I DRESSED as an academic administrator of a university in the 80s. SO for me this is pure nostalgia and I feel right at home in it.

  48. Tempest Grey on December 5, 2021 at 2:54 pm

Wow your hair is getting so long it’s been awhile sorry will be more attentive

  49. Karma Lhasa on December 5, 2021 at 2:56 pm

Love your channel so much, but it’s time to talk about your hair. It’s ruining your look! From the ears down, it’s dull, flat and frizzy. It looks so unhealthy. It’s covering up the style your wearing. What bet did you make or contest did you enter where your only hair style choice is how long will it grow? If you must keep the hair, pull it back into a ponytail and get it off camera. But really, it’s time for a good cut and some conditioner.

  50. Sonja Steinle on December 5, 2021 at 2:58 pm

Thank you for your summary! I have blue, blue and blue in my wardrobe and I love to mix the different shades of blue since 2018.
