Front Hitch on our RAM 3500 allows for many options

Front Hitch on our RAM 3500 allows for many options

When we got a truck camper, we knew we were going to lose some outside storage. After doing some research we have found a few solutions. One of them being the front hitch. Having this front hitch will allow us to attach a front hitch cargo carrier to add some extra storage to our set up.

In this video we show several ways that you can use a front hitch. Maybe one of these is the solution that you’re looking for.

If you have a truck camper or are limited in on space with any other camper, or if you’re just looking for a way to haul some extra stuff around, you should check this hitch out. They make them for many models of trucks, our just happens to be for a 2018 RAM 3500.

I really like the camo toilet seat option a person could do a lot of thinking in that position. The toilet paper option not shown so I figure you folks on the east coast are short on toilet paper as we are here in San Diego, let me know if I can assist and I can send you a few feet . lol

Always have favored a hitch on front end, makes so much sense for out door activities. Love the toilet seat option, that would be nice while tailgating just for a place to sit!! Great video thanks for sharing!

  11. Chad Gustafson on May 12, 2021 at 5:16 pm

do you think it would stand up to a winch?

  12. CJ on May 12, 2021 at 5:21 pm

We put a front hitch on our 2017 Ram 3500/Northstar setup. We plan on hauling a small motorcycle. That’s how we like to roll😂.
    Great job!

Great video again I’m doing this to my truck so I can put my boat in from the front because of the salt water I don’t want it to mess up my back steps with the northern lite

Good timing, we are looking at doing the same thing. Clean design/install on those Rams. I think we need to cut some fascia on our Chev, for the drawtite, which I prefer.

  23. Gary Ferguson on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

I installed a front hitch on my 2002 F350 dually Truck camper to carrier my Zuma 125
    Great video

  24. Gavin H on May 12, 2021 at 5:44 pm

Have a Ram 2500 2017, just ordered the same hitch.I have always been able to back the travel trailer to some crazy spots, with a few pull forward corrections. but this front hitch would have made it easier at times. Plus I like the idea of using it as a winch or basket option too.

You showed me everything beside a Grill

  26. Adventure Bandits on May 12, 2021 at 5:47 pm

The front hitch can be very useful. I like the basket for additional storage. The bed of my truck tends to fill up fast. Thanks for sharing!
