Help with CHRONIC, SEVERE ECZEMA – Specialist Eczema clothing that CHANGED OUR LIVES.

Eczema. Coping with chronic, severe eczema has been the central focus of our lives for almost the whole of my daughter’s life. In this video, I share something that made a HUGE difference to how we coped with eczema and how we were all able to get more sleep at night.

Here’s a link to Cotton Comfort’s website where you can find more information and see the full range of their specialized clothing for eczema and sensitive skin.

I’m Imo and she’s Izzy. We’re a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.

We’re a formerly homeschooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy’s severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis, but we’d love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.

Imo is a flautist/flutist (flute player), and these vlogs will often take you behind the scenes of the life of a professional folk musician. Stand by for bits and bobs of live folk music and dance as they pop up in our day-to-day lives.

These videos will not generally feature recorded background music, making them extra suitable for people who aren’t keen on pop music!

Follow this channel for occasional tips on caring for eczema, content relating to the flute, travel (particularly to Lisbon, Portugal), homeschooling and homeschool mom stuff, folk musician lifestyle, and to see what life is like for this little family in our corner of South Wales in the UK.

I REALLY feel for you and your daughter! It’s hard to imagine the grief these conditions cause people, unless one or one’s loved ones experience them. I do have relatives that have had similar problems, and now that l’m older l get flare ups of things that my doctors aren’t fully sure what they are and why they happen. We’re trying to narrow it down. πŸ’—πŸŒΊ

My daughter suffered with severe eczema from her neck to feet and it would crack open and bleed. She is an adult now and it is much better but, still has a few spots that are affected which, she does the best she can. Those clothes are brilliant and I wish had them when my daughter was young.

My uncle has had severe eczema all his life, bad flare ups his whole body is covered with thick red skin. Even at the hospital they will have trouble getting an injection through his skin. So painful. Others in the family have it but not as sever as him, still needing cotton gloves on at night and wrapping the body though. Mine is tame compared. Ezcema is miserable πŸ˜• x

I didnt get eczema until I was older and I did find it stress related. The itching was a nightmare though so I can identify with that. If I used cortisone cream it would help clear a patch of it, only for it to flare up on another part of the body. Now I don’t get it except for a small patch on my scalp. Hadnt heard of this company before, so it is good to know about. It looks as though they have really thought it through in designing these items. Because of the severity of this condition, one would think that by now there would be more effective treatments available. TFS

How lovely to share about these high-quality comfort clothes. I saved this to my ‘medical’ YT folder so that if I learn of someone suffering from this problem I can tell them. Those outfits were so cute.

Thank you SO much for your wonderful video Imo! If we can reach and help more people through this with our clothes at Cotton Comfort then we will be forever grateful. As you know my daughter wore these too when she had horrific eczema as a child and I totally agree with everything you said here, that’s why I got involved in it with the aim of reaching and helping as many people as possible. We don’t yet have a channel on YouTube but may do soon!

I’ve got a bit of a problem and I hoped you’d be able to help me. I’ve had to have a new mobile phone number and now I can’t get in to my PayPal account. I remembered the same sort of thing happened to you. Please can you let me know how you managed to get in to your PayPal account? If you can help me I’d be very grateful. Thank you very much.
