Finally something I can watch that doesn’t distinguish me according to "how" I should look rather dress to reflect….ME! Thankyou appreciate your openness and honesty! ❤

I honestly don’t know how to dress my nearly 42 year old self. I’ve been a stay at home mum & carer to one of my kids. I mostly wear leggings, but also leggings and joggers (not the same as tracksuit bottoms). I go for comfort!

  5. GBGM Vlogs on July 10, 2021 at 2:09 am

Very informative. How to determine your color pallet anyway?

  6. Wilmary Gonzalez on July 10, 2021 at 2:13 am

Thanks for this! I just bought a dress that is short. I typically wear at least knee length, so I was debating if 31 was too old to wear short dresses. My legs are one of my best features! I will be wearing it this weekend!

That’s why it’s important to buy good quality clothing (not expensive, just good quality) because timeless pieces will be in your wardrobe for years.

I’m still in my 20s but people have always said that I dress like an "old woman" so watching your videos has really helped me to start considering what I value in my personal style and how I can marry together my young-ish age and my love for more classic, structured, pieces that a lot of people my age don’t consider trendy. Thank you Audrey for all the work you do!

  32. Ashley Anastasia on July 10, 2021 at 2:45 am

I am 34, and I bought myself a two piece swimsuit instead of opting for something more "age appropriate" because I’m proud that after having a baby, I still look good thanks to dedication to regular exercise and eating right.

  33. Jason Licos on July 10, 2021 at 2:45 am

Your articulation and pronunciation are superb. It’s rare for me to hear people with a bright and clear speaking voice. Excellent use of language.

  34. Nina Eckhoff on July 10, 2021 at 2:46 am

I just turned 70. My favorite thing about dressing for this age is that I am retired and my life has changed dramatically (I moved to the country from the suburbs, too, and bought a fixer-upper house) and now that we have restrictions being lifted (due to COVID) I am trying to figure out how to live my life – it requires less versatility. I have cleaned closet and I only wear pieces that are flattering, comfortable and quality – whether I am gardening or out to a meal with friends. I opt for classics with a twist from accessories (silk scarves, pashmina!), and I most often wear flats. I have only a few pairs of heels. I love boots. I wear leggings because my life is so casual and I am fit and have great legs (I am tall), but I want to opt for some drapes trousers in a light wool. I wear dresses and skirts in summer. The hardest part of being 70 is adjusting to what age does to the body. I liked being a 38B and now I am busty UGH. Yes, I have more of a belly – so I go for a high waist – no multi-layered muffin top for me! And, the veins in my legs are noticeable – I don’t like that! I wear tops that are fitted but not tight. My favorite pieces are Hunter boots, a Burberry raincoat (from 1982!) and my ancient dressy Ferragamo bag. I no longer wear belts – I find them restrictive. I love fedoras with a feminine pin on the side! Always a crossbody bag with a zip top for casual and a small shoulder bag/clutch for dressier – Chanel style. I want to say that I love your videos. Your knowledge is vast and deep (and I know fashion having spent most of my career there) and you do a superlative job on describing all the aspects of looking your best for all of life’s aspects. Thanks again for another instructive, fun video!

I love this message. It’s unique because I am use to hearing “ when women turn 40 she should NOT wear this, and that.” The message here is to make sure what u wear makes u happy, look and fit well ( your comfort level) and something that expresses who you are as a person.
