you look so great in in those clothes but there is no way I would dress like that again.
I don’t have the abbs to pull it off any more

  2. Lynn Smith on December 1, 2021 at 1:42 pm

Yes I also love the 80s early 2000s as well as some late 70s I also like the 60s

  3. Imani Rae on December 1, 2021 at 1:44 pm

  4. Kendra Baldwin on December 1, 2021 at 1:45 pm

i love the look of low rise jeans on other people but baybeee the way this stomach is set up? it’s not realistic unless someone’s buying me a tummytuck💀

  5. R L on December 1, 2021 at 1:45 pm

The last two looks, straight out of a music vid for real.

  6. Kelia Coleman on December 1, 2021 at 1:47 pm

  7. Angela B on December 1, 2021 at 1:48 pm

I think you can unlace the black sweats and lace them back up the right way

  8. The Chefette on December 1, 2021 at 1:49 pm

The early 2000s was the most cringe fashion. I was in college and my friends and I laugh about how tacky we looked. The low rise jeans with the thong showing 🤮 the juicy jogging suits 🤢 the bell bottoms done wrong… the fedoras!!! just google image search early 2000s fashion TACK-KAY. 80s-90s has a better more vintage vibe.

  9. Autochthonous American Princess on December 1, 2021 at 1:49 pm

That bandana top is so cute on you & your figure is gorg ! Plus that top with those oversized jeans is a mood.

  10. Marie B on December 1, 2021 at 1:50 pm

Yes I miss flare jeans so much. It is literally impossible to find flare jeans ANYWHERE! It’s either skinny jeans or mom/boyfriend oversized jeans. And this is for me mostly but I miss the Hot Topic or that era where everyone was afraid to go into the store unless you dressed that way. Flip phones, the music from that era especially the hip hop and club music. I’d say after Beyoncé went solo and Britney Spears went crazy those trends died down. I miss Ciara and Missy Elliot. The old Eminem. When fuse and MTV still had music. The types of comedy movies that came out around that time. That was a good era.

  11. YoItsJordanSky on December 1, 2021 at 1:51 pm

No to the low rise, but live your best life boo. I see clothing from my childhood and teenage years and shake my head at myself thinking I was grown in some of this outfits. Now my fav style is the 70s.

  12. Fay Coleman on December 1, 2021 at 1:51 pm

Dressing "provocatively" has always been a thing. Look up pictures of women in the 60’s 70’s they had pants that were wide legged but their shorts were just as short as ours are now and they too were wearing crop tops.

  13. fluffy lonjini on December 1, 2021 at 1:51 pm

im loving the jeansss, such a nice fit on ya sis

  14. Jackie Bedward on December 1, 2021 at 1:51 pm

If your on stay at home orders let’s take a shot of your favorite drink every time my girl say definitely 😂. Thanks for sharing your cute.

  15. Imanarchy on December 1, 2021 at 1:52 pm

Y’all, we gotta let the low rise DIE ! PLEASE!
I’ve struggled to find jeans my entire childhood because of this trend, it had even plagued the kid’s section and mid-rise was RARE. Had to wear belts with every pair of trousers and pray everytime I bent over that my underwear wasn’t going to be on show (not much luck here, a few embarrassing memories come to mind).
Girls with an arched back and a booty was NOT what they had in mind when they designed those and I need the high and very high rise to stay on the market because I refuse to go back to the belt-wearing days 😭

(Also, I don’t know why anyone’s mad about crop tops today when my friends and I were rocking those in elementary school with no one ever batting an eye…? I’m talking actual crop tops with Winnie the Pooh and Disney Princesses on it 😂)

  16. angeli on December 1, 2021 at 1:56 pm

I hate to be this person but im not gonna lie everytime i watch one of these 2000’s lookbook i get a little frustrated that everything is high waisted. High waisted was 90s low rise was very 2000’s. I almost feel that is what really set the 90s/00’s apart in fashion. I am so badly waiting for someone do low rise jeans i miss that trend so much its as early 2000’s as you can get.

  17. Autochthonous American Princess on December 1, 2021 at 1:56 pm

I don’t wanna show my undies no matter what year it is tho😂😅 I’ll take a personal pass on that one.

  18. Erica Banks on December 1, 2021 at 1:56 pm

We didn’t have uniforms, but we had a dress code. I graduated way back in 2004

  19. Briana C. on December 1, 2021 at 1:57 pm

  22. thrifted dad hat on December 1, 2021 at 2:06 pm

I was a Freshman in 07 and we definitely couldn’t wear croptops in school. We couldn’t even wear shorts above mid thigh or spaghetti straps. Must be a geographical thing cause I live in small Southern enclave🤷🏾‍♀️

  23. Chrisy’s Walk and Beauty on December 1, 2021 at 2:07 pm

    You hit it dead on!!!!

  24. Kisha T on December 1, 2021 at 2:10 pm

Same, I LOVE the late 90’s and ESPECIALLY the early 2000’s

  25. MoneyBagg_Garcia 510 on December 1, 2021 at 2:12 pm

I was born in 2005 it sucks to experience it at a very young age like the tall tees and baggy clothing but hopefully it would come back

  26. Jacquie Mac on December 1, 2021 at 2:13 pm

Definitely don’t want the low rise jeans trend coming back. My butt sits way too high for that.
Girl in 2008, I smooth graduated college and was two years into the workforce. Anywhoo…
Definitely remember the matching your sweaters with socks. Bandanas were big, colored butterfly clips, oversized jeans. Swooshy (windbreaker pants) with one leg rolled up and flannel shirts with the cropped bra underneath.

  27. MrTkelley5683 on December 1, 2021 at 2:13 pm

Girl, panties showing wasn’t cute then and it’s not cute now. I hope that doesn’t come back .

  28. Gretchen Ackles on December 1, 2021 at 2:14 pm

  31. Kyra Ely on December 1, 2021 at 2:21 pm

The last one was Aaliyah all day😂I would def wear the pink bandanna outfit super cute

  32. Shawnie on December 1, 2021 at 2:22 pm

Man being a teen in the 2000s!!😩 I remember buying every color bandana from the beauty supply store and I would just fold the top down and tie them around myself and wear them as a top with my L.E.I. and Mudd flare leg jeans or shorts. It was a look! Crazy how fashion just keeps recycling. 😁 😍

  33. unique37us on December 1, 2021 at 2:23 pm

Everytime you say you’re 5’4" I’m just floored! You just seem so tall! That’s my height and I just feel like "wow, Shanygne is probably model-tall next to me!"

  35. WJL2002 Red on December 1, 2021 at 2:26 pm

As a kid from a pretty poor area, the height of class and sophistication to me was the Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuits…anyone from the UK please lemme know if this was your dream outfit once upon a time 😂
