  6. Valore Dramack on August 13, 2021 at 10:04 pm

This is not the kind of headshot that I was looking for, I was expecting sniper videos. Put a camera in your thumbnail instead of a serial killer face with shooter goggles.

  7. Tomas Alejo on August 13, 2021 at 10:04 pm

    Annoying

  8. E. De La Cruz on August 13, 2021 at 10:07 pm

  9. keithvlogs on August 13, 2021 at 10:07 pm

but, arent you getting distortion having them like only 5 feet away from your cam? Regardless if its a 200mm lens?

Made the mistake of going to this guys talk at WPPI this last February. It was like going to a long winded infomercial. He is a mediocre, at best, photographer who is as full of BS as it gets. Looking at his headshots is like looking through a high school yearbook of headshots. As a long time pro photographer myself he is an embarrassment when he brags about his pedestrian work. This is a case of “two fools”. One is the fool who thinks he’s great and the other is the fool who would pay him for this stuff.

I think it’s a bad idea entirely, because all they’re actually doing is creating a situation where employers are going to judge people by their appearance, rather than their qualifications, and that is a form of discrimination. And what happens if two people who have the exact same qualifications apply for the same job? Who will get the job then? Answer: the one who looks better. It’s amazing to me how stupid people are when they assume they’re doing a good thing, but don’t bother to examine the underlying consequences. The truth about this is, they are creating a whole new facet of discrimination, one which will most likely have to be made illegal one day.

Fstoppers has the best sales videos I’ve ever seen. These are what every online seller of anything should aspire to.

  28. Marina Duran on August 13, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Is great to see and found information online however before you get sold or its looks always do extra background work I am easily sold however its wasn’t much tips it was more over 3,000 cost plus 1,000 I cost I get it what make him money for him but once i read comments you have actual people who went college and study this fields and I will be honest the price for knowledge is priceless and do every ground work I believe this is great but dont get easily sold specifically when u dont have alot money and starting your career dont go broke be wise I be in the this field as well.

  29. Aleksandar Glavaski on August 13, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Exactly, just do as simple as you can to get the best from them. The rest is, play with light.

You want a headshot? Aim higher!

  38. Piotr Trocki on August 13, 2021 at 10:35 pm

I’m sure that he makes women very comfortable when he starts telling them what to do to hide their gums or crooked teeth. Hahaha. That’s the problem with portraits, you cannot tell them what is wrong with their faces, because people are trying to hide their imperfections or they don’t see them.

  39. Veselin Vasilev on August 13, 2021 at 10:39 pm

    Thanks!

  40. Stephen Averett on August 13, 2021 at 10:41 pm

  44. Creative Marketing Nerds on August 13, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Damn, a 12 minute video hyping up a tutorial…. is this an infotutorial? I’m confused…

  45. Travis on August 13, 2021 at 10:47 pm

I love the negative comments here. You losers make it easy for those of us that want to be able to make money by perfecting our craft. I have been making 350k a year shooting real estate. I charge $2,420 a house and do 3 a week on average and have been for over 9 years. Most others charge $250 and do a shit of a job walking g around with phones on sticks. I laugh every time I see it. I want to be able to charge for h=good work and it takes learning so Im going to buy the course. It will pay for itself in a week. I have the client already.

  46. jan albrecht on August 13, 2021 at 10:48 pm

it took me 1:34 to find stop button…and i dont like these super defined reflections in the eyes, nor that strange jaw obsession, but hey i am in the EU…..

    Amazing, simply amazing

  50. NotmyName on August 13, 2021 at 10:52 pm

Technical stuff easy to nail down with YouTube help. How you interreact with a client like PH does? Don’t think we will learn that from a class.
