It’s very obvious that if you look into platforms like Tiktok and also Instagram the style you see there is uniform because there are for the most part only young girls that have not found their own style yet. Women with their own style personality are often 30+

I’m the stacked earrings person. I don’t wear much in the way of jewelry but I’ve loved multi ear piercings since I was a kid(yes, kid 😄), I’m currently 36 and that love never went away. As soon I hit legal age, I’ve increased the number of my ear piercings. I’m not a fan of big or costume jewelry so all my earrings are small and dainty. I like the occasional large hoop so I’m planning to buy solid gold hoops in a high karat so I can keep them for life. I dislike the beige trend. A beige moment is nice here and there but I’m not getting rid of my closet or love of color just so I can look cool and score some IG likes.

Don’t forget the nails, thoes 9" nails. So gross.

  4. marija on August 24, 2021 at 10:28 pm

What would be great is if you create a series where each time you would pick a designer and talk about him/her. Their biography and status in today’s world. There are so many of us that don’t live in that world ( by choice or not) and would like to hear your thoughts.🤗

  5. Ruby Madrigal on August 24, 2021 at 10:28 pm

So so so so so glad I’m not into trends.

  6. Omomo on August 24, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Lol! Hamilton, Ontario is such a black hole for style I never see ANY of these trends!
I’m 42 and in my wide legged jeans I’m the trendiest person on the east mountain lol!!

  7. Nicole Cruz on August 24, 2021 at 10:32 pm

The whispering cemetery noteworthily hook because cupcake consequentially pretend athwart a utter bamboo. coordinated, abusive top

  8. Mela P on August 24, 2021 at 10:33 pm

I like the look with sweater vests, but it doesn’t work on me. Oh well. There is no freaking way i am spending money on a armpit bag… I lived this shit in the early 2000 and I am not going back.

  9. Ceaaa22 on August 24, 2021 at 10:34 pm

3:08 I bought a couple of hip length V-neck sweater vests for work I’ve been layering over blouses and turtlenecks.

  10. N M on August 24, 2021 at 10:34 pm

    Plain ugly .

  11. kary ann Fontaine on August 24, 2021 at 10:36 pm

I hated shoulder pads in the 1990s and will never wear them now. Oversized bag lady clothing is not for me. I am very petite and slim, but I do not wish to look like a little homeless Weeble. I hope the awful 90s go away AGAIN.

  12. M I N U I T on August 24, 2021 at 10:39 pm

After months of quarantine I have no choice but to wear oversized! I got freaking HUMONGOUSESES

  13. Suny WCC on August 24, 2021 at 10:40 pm

“And it’s free, and that’s that!” Love you 😽

  14. Essandra Blog on August 24, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Surely you did it… but you can update a video about classic trends and long term styles. We need a smart closet. 🛍

  15. Style Hard on August 24, 2021 at 10:44 pm

The audio is a bit loud for ONLY the first minute but then evens out! Sorry about that!!!

  17. Roxanne Kane on August 24, 2021 at 10:45 pm

    Cute sweater

  18. Alyssa Dana on August 24, 2021 at 10:45 pm

In hs- myself included we were all walking advertisements for Abercrombie, juicy, coach. Etc. so even tho I loveeee some of these trends out there I hate that we’re all walking around as advertisements for one and for two I don’t want to be dressed the same as everyone like how it happened in HS – and I hate when my fav bloggers are dressed the same :/

  19. Soyeon Kim on August 24, 2021 at 10:46 pm

I love your top!!! Where did you get it?

  20. Clover Amy on August 24, 2021 at 10:49 pm

_thank you! This was soooo helpful! Loving your content and I have joined your channel, I bought a replica bag from @ __gulvs.com__ at the same time_

  21. Thulisa Mayambela on August 24, 2021 at 10:49 pm

you are 100% right. people do lack originality, i hardly see anyone stylish theese days. whats worse is people waste their money on trendy luxury fashion just to fit it , ie the prada fabric bag.

  22. Veronica gonzalez on August 24, 2021 at 10:51 pm

I absolutely love the color of your hair. Are they highlights or full color?. 🤩

  23. Linda Caffalette on August 24, 2021 at 10:51 pm

Hi sweetie, just wanted to mention your sound on this video had an echo/ slightly garbled effect so it’s only fair to let you know as it’s difficult to watch.Thank you!

  24. Cara Frey on August 24, 2021 at 10:51 pm

You look SO much like Sarah Michelle Gellar from Buffy the vampire slayer

  25. milla • on August 24, 2021 at 10:52 pm

the quality is so much better than before 😀 but you should hire an editor! i could just imagine this being very professionally edited

  26. Papeeshka on August 24, 2021 at 10:54 pm

If the Dad sneakers are over, what sneakers should I wear with Narrow (AA) feet? If the match sweatsuit is over, what do I wear for lounge with a long torso? If the armpit bag is over, what bag do I get for summer?

  27. Kimberly Perrotis on August 24, 2021 at 10:54 pm

The oversized, too-long, boxy top/blazer is a trend I won’t buy, it’s just not flattering or timeless and will look downright dated in a year. If I wanted an oversized blazer, I’d thrift one from the men’s section for $5.

  28. mo8erry on August 24, 2021 at 10:54 pm

You had me until you attacked the sweatsuit. That one hurt. LOL 😂 🤣

  29. Kimberly Perrotis on August 24, 2021 at 10:54 pm

I bought only black and white sweater vests, in classic fit. I already had a multi-tone green one from Free People, late 2019, that’s plenty. I think these, what you call Grandpa pieces, are just preppy classics. Argyle sweaters, simple cardis, vests, etc. I’m on board with preppy and academia styles.

  30. Roxanne Kane on August 24, 2021 at 10:55 pm

I personally really dislike the matching sweatsuit with jewelry look.

  31. Martina Živko on August 24, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Why is she talking about being "original" while sitting here looking like basic betty? That blonde curtain hair, boring nude make up and that basic shirt?

  32. carola valabustos on August 24, 2021 at 11:02 pm

Agree 👌 (l Will get a matching sweat suit on Grey my first and only ) 😅🤩

  33. Carolina Sullivan on August 24, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Can’t do sweater vests…and those girls wearing so much jewelry …they look like a “walking store”

  34. Amanda Martin on August 24, 2021 at 11:05 pm

    Love your channel!!!!

  35. Karenmarie Pomba Gira on August 24, 2021 at 11:06 pm

Fur vests are ok not sweater vest. I saw my mom rock them. I like the Chanel combat boot though.

  36. Demure Darling on August 24, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Umm that sweater vest will always be around

  37. horses4555 on August 24, 2021 at 11:09 pm

The sweater vests have been popular in Asia for over 10 years, so I don’t think it’s really a trend, maybe in the west but definitely not in the east.

  38. Kim C1234 on August 24, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I love the little bags, even though I only carry one if I’m in a dressier dress, but hate all cross body bags. Wore one decades ago when I was 5. LOL They’re semi-ok if someone is very tiny. But if they have weight on them, it just makes them look bigger to me. Not flattering at all. As for sweats, I just picture Walmart mom shopper. I don’t care what designer made them. They’re sweats… As for the bare looks I’m seeing online, it’s easy to cross over into skank mode. I love dressing bare because I live in a really warm climate and have to be very careful with this. I purposely unfollow anyone who’s posting the skank pics. Why encourage that? Love the video! Thank you for great advice as always!

  39. Christina Piangozza on August 24, 2021 at 11:10 pm

I love your new space! Honestly, the grandpa vibe that I love are elbow patches. All of my grandpa’s favorite sweaters and blazers had elbow patches, and I just love them. Sweater vests are just a little too Bill Cosby and I can’t get into that.

  40. Ashley Swierpel on August 24, 2021 at 11:11 pm

I’m too old for some of these trends. I’m 37(which is young), and don’t want to look like I’m hanging onto my youth for dear life😂

  41. Diep io on August 24, 2021 at 11:11 pm

    I completely agree!

  42. mihaella bianova on August 24, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I am very happy that I am not the only one thinking this trends are little overrated

  43. Lara P on August 24, 2021 at 11:12 pm

You’re background is so nice and original, I’ve noticed many people on YT are afraid of dark backgrounds, yours is a good example how great it looks! And also, girl you’re glowing 😍

  44. ReyBeltane on August 24, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I will always maintain that combat/moto boots are a classic AND practical shoe…while white trainers/sneakers of any kind (especially a chunky dad one!) will always make you look like an American tourist or tired mum at a theme park. I also just love the irony that Maytal is so up on current trends and uses TikTok but then still uses slang like ‘gangbusters’ lol <3

  45. Kristopher Hokanson on August 24, 2021 at 11:16 pm

    Great video!!

  46. Maria Catalina on August 24, 2021 at 11:19 pm

No one thinks it’s perfect that a 2020 trend is a sweatshirt set? Lol I can’t think of anything more 2020. How perfect to represent Corona Virus. 🤣

  47. Krista Harris on August 24, 2021 at 11:23 pm

I love sweater vests, they go in and out of fashion, but I think they are classic. But I think you are right when people pile on all the trends at once, it diminishes the whole look. The sweater vest, with the combat boots, with the armpit bag, with oversized everything is trendy without being fashionable. Cultivating your personal style will always be more interesting.

  48. Monica Clasener on August 24, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Sweater vests(?) were very fashionaly in the 50-70ties. All respectable people wore them.

  49. angmansb on August 24, 2021 at 11:25 pm

The only trend I like is moto boots the rest is meh. Where did color go are we all that depressed we can only wear color if it’s in a bag trend? I miss color…the thing is in the 90s we wore color and had so much fun with it too so why bring it back so bland.

  50. Sunny B on August 24, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Can you do a video on your favourite tops?
