i think we just need to be INTENTIONAL. We can’t buy a piece of clothing that was made perfectly with no problems. But be INTENTIONAL. If you buy thrifted clothes, make sure you don’t overconsume. If you buy fast fashion, make sure you get maximum use out of the piece. If you buy sustainable clothing, make sure you spend your money wisely. Be intentional about every piece of clothing.

  8. GodlyPUsAh on October 29, 2021 at 10:55 am

Only 35% of what’s collected in those bins at H&M are recycled which is misleading with them saying they are trying to change their environment and what they stand for. According to CMA’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, H&M has broken two codes of ethics before so that’s a yike. They started trying to change when they were called out by people which is kinda a problem. H&M manufacturers and places where they dump those clothes affect the environment as we all know POLLUTION but then again it’s hard to argue that point since a lot of corporations do the same but they affect the people who live who around those areas :(.

the “sustainable” lines in fast fashion companies like h&m and green washing and not actually sustainable, the workers are still treated the same and most of the fabric isn’t actually good

  24. R A on October 29, 2021 at 11:12 am

Hey, what you said about h&m was not exactly true. Not your fault, because a lot of people have thought this too. But here’s a video you can watch to educate yourself a little bit more. ( This isn’t my video, it just changed my perspective on fast fashion after I watched it.) Hasan Minhaj, the ugly truth about fast fashion. Good luck!

    You’re so prettyyy 💜

  37. Josefina Jara on October 29, 2021 at 11:24 am

H&M is one of the world’s most recognisable fast fashion brands. It’s the second largest retailer in the world, trailing just behind Inditex (the owner of Zara). H&M has long been the target of widespread concern about the impact of fast fashion on the environment and the workers who make the clothes. I am not buying from people that take advantage of women and children.
