Everything was pretty good, except 2019 – that looks like an outfit from the early 2010s, not at all 2019

  2. VA.M on May 12, 2021 at 5:07 pm

I hate it that all the girls wear wide jeans now and so on please wear tight jeans again!

  3. I hate documentaries on May 12, 2021 at 5:07 pm

I can’t believe y’all are denying the skull scarf, everyone had one

  4. paperchain 123 on May 12, 2021 at 5:11 pm

It must be hard trying to find any fashion in this era.
Fashion usually means something on trend..
Most of these are car crash items.

Maybe add pictures for reference next time. And include styles of dress for both men’s and women’s fashion. Overall, it’s a good video 🙂

  13. Kameko Peachy on May 12, 2021 at 5:18 pm

I remember in the early 2010s when people wore one color sleeveless long shirts, black legging tights, and put a lot of bracelets on their wrists

  14. ThePandoricaOfFandoms on May 12, 2021 at 5:18 pm

2016 is so accurate! I can totally see myself wearing that outfit to school in 2016

  21. Charlie on May 12, 2021 at 5:24 pm

Am I the only one who absolutely HATES the atheleisure look? I haven’t owned any track suits (pants) since I was in high school, and that was only for P.E. lesson – I think they are an abomination.

  22. Anna k on May 12, 2021 at 5:24 pm

the Chelsea boots of 2015 made me immediately think of Harry Styles and how well he pulled those off

  29. Imanarchy on May 12, 2021 at 5:29 pm

  30. Bart Konig on May 12, 2021 at 5:31 pm

5:55 Uuuufff when I saw those biker shorts I thought, this outfit is such a mess bro! xD

  31. ZackM1203 on May 12, 2021 at 5:34 pm

Sure this isn’t 90’s fashion? Nothing like the 10’s at all

  32. 00 00 on May 12, 2021 at 5:38 pm

I’m in my 30s and have followed trends for years and can tell you that some of these are inaccurate.

I don’t remember crop tops being at all popular at all in 2011. The colorful jeans were generally low to mid rise and would often be worn with a tunic or a full shirt and a cardigan or hooded sweater.

I don’t remember seeing anyone wearing head to toe leather day to day in 2012. I can imagine that this was a runway thing and popular with celebrities but not with everyday people. Cropped faux leather bomber jackets were however quite popular and this was a trend that continued from about 2010. They were often worn with a longer sweater or tunic underneath.

The ladies outfit from 2014 looks like an outfit from 2020. I don’t remember me or anyone else around me wearing a matching two piece, in fact that was something that started to become quite popular very recently. I see the model is also wearing a crop top. Crop tops were only just starting to emerge into mainstream fashion after a really long hiatus. Women often would wear them over a longer shirt, something you don’t see today. High waisted jeans also took off and the high waisted jeans with crop tops look that is so popular still in 2020 actually began to take off in 2014.

It seems to me like a zoomer probably came up with these. I’m sure they had good intentions and did some research but it would have been better to have someone older who knows what people would have been wearing at that time.

  33. This Charming Trash on May 12, 2021 at 5:38 pm

It’s like a cheap and charactless mixture of every decade from the 50s to the 90s with extra emphasis on the worst 80s trends. By comparison the 80s look classy indeed.
God, 2019 is probably the ugliest outfit I’ve ever seen.

  34. Amalfi Mosquete on May 12, 2021 at 5:39 pm

I feel like the early 2010s were a trainweck.
But the late 2010s was actually very good

  35. jessie i on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

bro the 2017 one is such a look i love it

  36. Joe Hopkins on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

2016 was literally matte and beigey coloured makeup and clothes, presumably inspire from Kardashian empire

  37. Joe Burreaux on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

    2012 had the best fashion

  38. AlumniArmy on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

I’m literally dying right now, bc I wrapped my hair up with a skull scarf, that I used to wear around that time 😂😂

  39. Ikari Shojo on May 12, 2021 at 5:42 pm

I still think skater dresses are cute. I graduated high school in 2014 and when I saw my crush wear one in the hallways I was like:

    👁👄👁

I still really like skinny jeans. But the older I get the more I appreciate a nice, straight leg that sits comfortably at my waist. Finding a decent straight leg is difficult however. Not a big fan of high-waisted, wide legs jeans that I see a lot of my friends wear. To each their own.

Also, you would’ve completed the 2010 look much better with the shutter sun glasses. Anyone remember those?

  40. Just some girl with a moustache on May 12, 2021 at 5:44 pm

    The most boring decade

  41. juno on May 12, 2021 at 5:45 pm

Worst decade ever in fashion history!

  42. Rayna Somers on May 12, 2021 at 5:46 pm

I feel like matching sets aren’t really a trend. They are to vage for that

  43. Verónica 21 on May 12, 2021 at 5:49 pm

  44. Eggy Patrick on May 12, 2021 at 5:50 pm

  45. blurry123 bob on May 12, 2021 at 5:51 pm

  46. Ms Smudge on May 12, 2021 at 5:51 pm

why they all dressed like teacher from my high school

  47. Jamie Schneider on May 12, 2021 at 5:54 pm

    This feels totally off

  48. Fernando Garza on May 12, 2021 at 5:57 pm

guys, the video is just talking about the best selliing pieces of clothes, not the most famous ones, like the skull scarf

  49. DALIA on May 12, 2021 at 5:59 pm

Remembre how in other time periods people actually took time to dress in a way were they would stand out and take fashion risks? all the trends now are very ugly and boring.. they’re actually hurting my eyes. I mean times like the 80s were so tacky but they tried

  50. luke on May 12, 2021 at 6:00 pm

    where are the adidas superstar??
