  5. 4PITTS1BURGH2 on December 2, 2021 at 1:51 pm

So you brush every one of those products in before applying the next 1 or apply all of them then brush it in? Sorry I got golf shoes that need touched up and have never tried this before.

  6. Jairo J. Niño Perez on December 2, 2021 at 1:52 pm

So you have a Seiko on your wrist. I’m listening.

  7. BakchormeeMan on December 2, 2021 at 1:54 pm

Lol instead of just buying a role of cloth, he buys a t shirt and then cuts it up.. why??

  8. smithwesson on December 2, 2021 at 1:54 pm

  9. Jacqui Whitehouse on December 2, 2021 at 1:54 pm

I grow my own shoe trees.

  11. John C. Bunting on December 2, 2021 at 1:56 pm

Instead of using a cloth to apply a your Shoe Polish consider using Cotton Wool. Once used simply throw it away. Regards

  12. Jeremiah Anthony Reynaldo on December 2, 2021 at 1:59 pm

Hello! Really love your videos! Anyway, im starting to build my shoe shine kit (starting with renovateur and creme 1925, u actually inspired me to buy), now my question is, what does a weekly maintenance shine routine entail? Does it always include the saddle soap then renovateur then creme then wax? Or should it just be brush, then renovateur then creme?

  13. A Bohachuk on December 2, 2021 at 2:01 pm

Now go home and get your fucking shine box

  14. Walter Black on December 2, 2021 at 2:03 pm

There’s a low chance that this will be answered, but what colored creme did you use on those shoes? I have the same shoes and I would like to use the same exact product.

  15. Joshua Peterson on December 2, 2021 at 2:04 pm

I just want to make sure I understand. Mirror gloss after the Pate de Lux Wax Polish?

  16. MsBubu on December 2, 2021 at 2:04 pm

Thanks for the tips! Those are awesome shoes you got. I also like that you have the family heirloom brush and the story that goes with it is nice. 😊

  17. MoarPower on December 2, 2021 at 2:06 pm

I just hate the way Saphir products make my shoes smell. Leather smells amazing. These products smell nice at first but after a while I got totally sick of the smell

  18. Red Scorpion 6 on December 2, 2021 at 2:06 pm

Sapphire products are great, but they are expensive and not available except online. I use old fashioned Kiwi polish- it’s more work, but I can get excellent results from it.

I think the important thing here is to polish your dam shoes 👞!

  19. Ed Strazz on December 2, 2021 at 2:09 pm

This is a work of art!

  20. lijn73 on December 2, 2021 at 2:10 pm

I’m exploring the world of shoe care and your video’s explain a lot. One (stupid?) questions remains. Do I need a buffing brush for every color?

  21. Jes Mondo on December 2, 2021 at 2:10 pm

Does it matter what part of the horse the hair is from? I’ve seen a bargain, but it’s horse pubes.

    I eagerly await your response.

  22. vpx on December 2, 2021 at 2:13 pm

Can add links to each of the products?

  23. The Ulfhedinn on December 2, 2021 at 2:13 pm

What color of creme would you recommend for AE Burnished Copper? Your work in wonderful!

  24. John Doe on December 2, 2021 at 2:14 pm

Question, can you put leather soap over a shoe that has a coat of polish on it?

  25. Aarron Her on December 2, 2021 at 2:15 pm

That’s what I used for shine my shoes too.
    Loved saphir products alot.

  26. Kori Moncur on December 2, 2021 at 2:15 pm

Do you need a separate horse hair brush for each color shoes?

  27. Hidde Jules Johannes Draaisma on December 2, 2021 at 2:15 pm

YouTube’s algorithm knows me too well, my local shoemaker hasn’t helped me a bit i terms of advice.
    But this is 👌

  28. Maurizio Mantovan on December 2, 2021 at 2:17 pm

It’s because of the elegant oxford that I have all my shoe shining Saphir products and stunning looking dress shoes! Thanks brotha!

  29. Jack Brainard on December 2, 2021 at 2:18 pm

I am seeing a resurgence in dress shoes. I am restoring my Johnston & Murphy as a gift to my son. The older shoes are made in USA and top quality compared to what you buy today.

  30. Zachary Suchanek on December 2, 2021 at 2:20 pm

Do you really only use one brush, for all different shades of creams? I have three different horse hair brushes for black, oxblood, and tan shoes. I found colors bleeding if I didn’t! Am I missing something?

  31. McElhinney65 on December 2, 2021 at 2:22 pm

Preston, does wax polish inhibit future cream polishes penetrating the leather or does it wear off over time? Is there an argument for only using shoe creams in order to condition the leather as best as possible?

  32. Get Serious Media on December 2, 2021 at 2:23 pm

I used a neutral Saphir wax on my Brown shoes. WHen I start wearing them I get white residue on the crease above the toe cap. I think that this is the wax cracking. WOndering if I’m doing anything wrong or if there’s a quick fix so it doesn’t look bad?

  33. JETZcorp on December 2, 2021 at 2:25 pm

Jeez. I don’t know what kind of lives other people live, but my shoes tend to get put onto my feet, which are typically swinging about and in close proximity to the ground, car pedals, etc. It’s a really lucky day if I don’t scuff one of my shoes, unless I go around acting as though my feet are made of nitroglycerin. Do people with shiny perfect shoes just spend 2 hours every day making that happen, or are they all walking around like ballerinas with bombs on their shoes and I haven’t noticed?

  34. TacomaJ51 on December 2, 2021 at 2:25 pm

Here is something…my 100% horsehair shoebrush is also labeled as Made In Israel. So, there’s that.

  35. Chrystair Amaury on December 2, 2021 at 2:25 pm

Me: want to take five minutes to shine my shoes before a party to look neat.
Also me: end up with a 3 days project and a $ 200 investment.

  36. Rishad D'Souza on December 2, 2021 at 2:27 pm

I’ve read that using wax polish on your leather shoes too often can cause wax to build up, solidify gradually and then risk chipping off. Is this an actual problem? If yes, how often should you use that product?

  37. Flawless Films LLC on December 2, 2021 at 2:28 pm

hey do you have a link to kit?

  38. Bryan Carswell on December 2, 2021 at 2:29 pm

Preston, it looks like you shine the toes to a more glossy/mirror finish than the rest of the shoe. Why is that?

  39. The Savior on December 2, 2021 at 2:29 pm

How often should I do this? Daily? Weekly? Every 3 months?

  40. Arya Moshrefi on December 2, 2021 at 2:30 pm

hey man! I have 2 pairs that I can donate. one is magnani and the other one is cole haan and I live in orange county, CA. I dont need money. i just want to give it to someone that hopefully can restore/recondition them and wear them. Please let me know if you’re accepting shoes for your videos or donation.

  41. cjewelz on December 2, 2021 at 2:31 pm

Do I need three separate brushes to remove dirt, apply polish and to polish?

  42. Enginner on December 2, 2021 at 2:32 pm

If you take care, the things really long last..

  43. Just Truth on December 2, 2021 at 2:33 pm

For the shirt you use to shine shoes.. Are they button down dress shirts or just an under shirt? Thanks for your time.

  44. Reg Jennings on December 2, 2021 at 2:35 pm

I dare you to try this shoe shine method on a high end shoe. Like your vid’s………….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7txBCzG9q0

Anyone ever say go get your shine box(Goodfellas)?

  49. Rashik Sharar on December 2, 2021 at 2:43 pm

Excellent video!!! QQ: Can I skip the leather conditioner and go straight to using the cream polish? Because the cream polish conditions the leather as well, right?

  50. Sajib Hasan on December 2, 2021 at 2:43 pm

    Can i use regular shampoo.
