I think all of these outfits look frumpy. The extra material and rolled up legs make us all look shorter and heavier. Sorry, I can’t buy in to this trend at all, but thanks for trying!

  2. romaine calm1 on December 16, 2021 at 2:53 pm

Thank you for bridging the divide between me and my pre tween!…when she came to me with these huge jeans for back to school I was just SO confused 😂

Thanks, Erin… love your videos, this one is really great. Late to the party here. 😜 personally I prefer a slim look, love the 80’s vibe with the relaxed pants rolled up, too. But tall boots are big this fall 🤔 slim is more comfy in pants when worn with boots imo. especially here where our winters are brutal..

  5. Rachel Borah on December 16, 2021 at 2:56 pm

I hope more structured tops become the norm to balance the looser bottoms.

  6. carmen ramos on December 16, 2021 at 2:57 pm

I always loved the Jbrand Natasha skinny jeans on you so i found one on sale and actually just bought a pair. Then I see this now I am considering returning them! Lol!

  7. Maria Celestina on December 16, 2021 at 2:58 pm

Those jeans look ok dressed up with heals, but how about an everyday look for a mom running errands that wouldn’t look frumpy. I’m looking for practical options that look good too.

  8. K. G. M. on December 16, 2021 at 2:59 pm

    I love them ALL. 😁👍

  9. Chrissen Gemmill on December 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm

    Love my Levi’s wedgies!

  10. Karen Page on December 16, 2021 at 3:01 pm

As a pear I’m thrilled boot cut and flares are back in stores. Skinny jeans did not do my shape any favors. At 5’2 with hips and booty boot cut is much more flattering evens proportions and makes my legs look longer.

  11. Jennifer Turner-Oliveira on December 16, 2021 at 3:03 pm

I love the cardigan outfit. I love the lace blue top but I really love v necks

  12. Jocelyne Provost on December 16, 2021 at 3:03 pm

I simply hate shoulders pads! Especially with baggy jeans!
Not something I would or will wear.

  13. The cold glass of water show on December 16, 2021 at 3:04 pm

So they are just really the “boyfriend” jeans that came out about a decade or so ago

  14. Katherine Singletary on December 16, 2021 at 3:05 pm

I’ve noticed a lot of the jeans I can afford are made with a small waist then widen at the hips. So many clothing items are like that. Dresses, shorts and especially jeans. That saddlebag look. I’m narrow in the hips with a not so small middle. I wish designers would make great looking and fitting jeans with a material that stretches and gives so more women can wear them.

  15. Shelley Carr on December 16, 2021 at 3:06 pm

Loving my baggies. Feels very chic to me. A.Golde have been my favs so far.

  16. PrincessKLS on December 16, 2021 at 3:07 pm

Maybe because everyone gained weight in 2020😂

  17. Heartwood Kitchen on December 16, 2021 at 3:10 pm

I wear all sort of jeans, but never with holes in them.

  19. Sherrie Boutwell on December 16, 2021 at 3:12 pm

I loved everything in this video. I have bought the baggy jeans & did that special “roll up the hem” & want to ask….how do you keep them rolled??? Mine fall out & it just frustrates me. What are you doing than I am not?

  20. Kailua Girl on December 16, 2021 at 3:16 pm

Nooooo. Not flattering in my opinion.

  21. 静 黄 on December 16, 2021 at 3:17 pm

The recommended products are all the types I like

  22. Bella Rose on December 16, 2021 at 3:17 pm

So the Moussy also has a straight cut which isn’t as baggy as the Lomita wide straight which I love. I like pairing a baggier jean with a fitted top or pretty cami & cropped cardi since I’m petite & long waisted. Shoes optional. But I have to admit I think the baggier jean is so much more chic & cool than a skinny.

  23. ILLVMINATED on December 16, 2021 at 3:18 pm

    Baggy jeans are whack.

  24. Blue Victory on December 16, 2021 at 3:18 pm

I don’t care if they’re out or in, skinnies look best on me and I will never stop wearing them! 👍

  25. Vivian Smith on December 16, 2021 at 3:18 pm

At my age it feels very counterintuitive like I’m trying to wear something I’ve already worn before. And those loose fit jeans sometimes they’re so hard to find a pair that doesn’t makes my butt looks flat.
But it is good news for me because of my recent illnesses I can’t wear tight clothing and this is actually perfect for my stage of life now. Thank you so much for keeping all of us up to date and looking good.

  26. Tasha G on December 16, 2021 at 3:18 pm

Skinny jeans will never be out for me. They just flatter my shape more

  27. tortoisethor on December 16, 2021 at 3:20 pm

Yep! We are now old women😂🤣 and out of touch with the young crowd

  28. Jack In the Box on December 16, 2021 at 3:21 pm

Ladies: STOP following TRENDS! Wear what looks best on your body!!! Those in the fashion industry have gone crazy with the baggier Jean look! Who are they to determine the trends?

  29. Rene Hoffman on December 16, 2021 at 3:26 pm

I need recommendations for jeans like these but for someone who is 5ft. Would like to try them but they are mostly for tall people with a really long inseam. I need like 26 inch inseam max.

  30. Blessed Forever on December 16, 2021 at 3:26 pm

I’m 59, tall, and quite slim. I like the boyfriend and mom jeans and love my flares. I have one pair of trouser jeans which are a wide leg, and I enjoy those too. I haven’t found any really baggy jeans I like yet but I’m looking. I also still like my skinny jeans but mine are not the painted on type. I never did like jeggings on me. I plan to wear all of the styles as long as I find ones that look good on my figure. That is what I would suggest for everyone. Wear what you think flatters you and what you love and feel comfortable in. Then you will look fabulous!!

  31. eugenia veronica bustamante toledo on December 16, 2021 at 3:28 pm

    What about the slim fit????

  32. linde julien on December 16, 2021 at 3:28 pm

I started getting rid of my skinny jeans last year. I was really into cropped flares too so I cropped all my boot cuts off. Now I want full length high rise boot cuts, lol. They seem to be the most flattering. The skinny jeans are starting to look kind of dated, IMO. I think a little looser, trim fit jean is a good transition and better for more body types.

  33. Paula Chapman on December 16, 2021 at 3:29 pm

I’m not a skinny heel/sandal person but I just got some 70s Korkease wedges that I can’t wait to wear with baggy/flare. Thanks for this great video, Erin!

  34. Amrita Singh on December 16, 2021 at 3:29 pm

I’m not sure if they qualify as baggy, but I am reaching towards my flare crop or straighter crop jeans instead of skinny. It is cold in Detroit, so I pair them with combat type boots in the daytime, and heeled booties in the evening or for height. The only thing is the shaft of the boot needs to be tall enough not to fight with the hem line of the jean. I bought a beautiful cream bootie (Vince Camuto Pentlee), but it is fighting with many of my looser jeans (works fine with skinny). It would go great with skirts/dresses, but I don’t know how I feel about tights being darker than the bootie.

  35. kwi on December 16, 2021 at 3:31 pm

    Baggy jeans are ugly.
And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fashion powers that be…..Do NOT, for the love of everything decent, bring back super low waisted jeans.

  36. Destrukshawn on December 16, 2021 at 3:32 pm

I love the fact that everyone is willing to try anything, that’s what separates us all and keeps life refreshing! However, I personally think skinny jeans look completely foolish on grown men and can’t wait for this fashion wave to pass.

  37. Carina Lundström on December 16, 2021 at 3:33 pm

I always said if you don’t like a trend, wait a week, then it’s coming a new trend

  38. Marianne Evans on December 16, 2021 at 3:35 pm

I shall still be wearing my skinnies.

  39. kwi on December 16, 2021 at 3:35 pm

I just don’t find this cut to be flattering.
I hope this trend dies a fast death.

  40. Cottie Chauncey on December 16, 2021 at 3:36 pm

I for one am glad skinny jeans are out. They were very uncomfortable for me to wear. Couldn’t stand that tightness and my ankles always got cold! Even the not-so-tight-skinny jeans were an irritation, and I breathed a sigh of relief whenever I peeled them off…bit like taking a bra off, same relief. I’ll never wear skinnies again.

  41. Beach Town Girl on December 16, 2021 at 3:37 pm

I’m tall and slim at 60, but it took me forever to start wearing skinny jeans because when they first came out I hated how they made some women look like they had peg legs.
I ended up wearing them, but I was super picky about the fabric. Too stretchy and they show the shape of your leg and make you look knobby kneed. Lol
I’m going back to my boyfriend jeans. Those were always my favorites.
That and a crisp white shirt…

  42. Jennifer Nelmida on December 16, 2021 at 3:37 pm

I love most everything you show but outfit 2 is not good 😅

  43. Shanell Losinski on December 16, 2021 at 3:38 pm

I hate baggy jeans. And, it seems ridiculous to see such a sloppy trend come back lol.

  44. Jade Perlman on December 16, 2021 at 3:40 pm

I think the white jeans look great! I think the jeans should barley touch the floor with the flare jeans.

  45. Jade Perlman on December 16, 2021 at 3:40 pm

I tight roll my jeans like that also, with heels and a tighter shirt, not super tight but something more fitted. Add more feminine top (fitted) to go with the hills to balance out the boyfriend style jeans. I love the lace tank tops with the rolled jeans.

  46. Cathleen Neeson on December 16, 2021 at 3:40 pm

Question. Your figure is sooo cute! If I can ask? How tall are you and aprox what do you weight? I have large bones and am 5’4” tall now and am not looking good. I used to be 5’5”. Thanks much

  47. Carina Wilson on December 16, 2021 at 3:45 pm

    I love baggy slacks

  48. Anumati on December 16, 2021 at 3:45 pm

Skinny jeans are not out. They are just not hot trend, but I think, they became classic. If I wear oversized top, I definitely combine with tighter bottom, as I’m too short to wear everything baggy.

  49. Shelley Gower on December 16, 2021 at 3:47 pm

taking the words right outta my mouth

  50. Sara Ahlers on December 16, 2021 at 3:50 pm

And then there are those of us who are silently screaming, "FINALLY!" Now they just need to give us back the top and bottom 3" of fabric because nobody but us needs to know the color of our underwear and socks when we sit down, lol
