These Unexpected Fashion Trends Are BACK! – Fall Trends 2021
In today’s episode I’m talking about six “unexpected” fall fashion trends that have made a comeback. Some I thought would never reappear and others . . . well I’m SO pleased they’re back. I also just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for everyone who sent me such lovely kind and caring messages on my recent community tab post. I feel so incredibly lucky that I have so many amazing women from all over the world who took the time to reach out and send love. It was exactly what I needed so thank you. We’ve been locked down again in Auckland for almost two months and the feeling of being cut off from friends and family was really starting to get to me. I haven’t been able to get home to Sydney to see family for over four years now (thanks to Covid) and I’m usually ok but being locked down seemed to throw me into a bit of a tailspin. But all of your loving messages really helped to life me out of the doldrums so thank you thank you thank you.
Anyway, once again thank you for watching today’s episode and please let me know what you think about these comeback trends in the comments below.
Sending love.

    Low rise!
Didn’t they just switch to high rise?? The word trend is becoming annoying. Don’t spend too much on any one of them ,it will be gone before you can buy it and find a place to wear it🙄

  2. Sandra Pontius on October 23, 2021 at 10:17 am

    Everybody’s dressing like JLo.

  3. Ac Haley on October 23, 2021 at 10:19 am

Low rise jeans……the ultimate in discomfort 🙃

  4. Julie Catalini on October 23, 2021 at 10:19 am

Love your KrenBritChick blouse!!! I’ve got that one too, and the blue one (because like you, my time zone difference meant most items were sold out by the time I woke up for the day (I’m in Western Australia). 🇦🇺 thanks for the great content. I’m also not looking forward to low rise jeans 👖

  5. Cynthia Freeman on October 23, 2021 at 10:21 am

    No on all these trends

  6. Laura Jaine on October 23, 2021 at 10:21 am

Ahh I was right on the blouse! I’m glad you said it was from Karen’s collection!

  7. UNIFLYING on October 23, 2021 at 10:22 am

    Is the rhinestone coming back?

  8. Ana Ignatowicz on October 23, 2021 at 10:27 am

Parachute pants maybe jn style but ugly.

  9. Susan Virginia on October 23, 2021 at 10:27 am

I love sheer tights and kelly green.

  10. olivia dart on October 23, 2021 at 10:27 am

I love amost all of the trends! Not so sure about the pants 😅

  11. Karel Millard on October 23, 2021 at 10:28 am

    Great video! Thank you. 🙏✨

  12. Julia Uren on October 23, 2021 at 10:29 am

    I love 💘Kelly Green too 😍 amazing.

  13. Mary Cole on October 23, 2021 at 10:29 am

    Yep yep, adorable label!

  14. Holly Gamble on October 23, 2021 at 10:31 am

I LOVED low-rise jeans, mostly because I’m a thin, long-legged, and VERY short-waisted woman. There’s only about two fingers worth of space between where my rib cage ends and my hip begins. So jeans that sit higher on the waist tend to make it look like I have an endless back (picture Steve Urkel 😅).

  15. GYPSY SOUL on October 23, 2021 at 10:31 am

Loved your coffee mug! I would totally purchase one. Send link. In regards to the low waist, I have a boy shape body (no waist) as a result, low waist is very forgiving for my body type. Wish I could wear more of a high rise though… Thanks for your video

  16. Karla Mullen on October 23, 2021 at 10:31 am

Omg you were able to get one of Karen’s clothing pieces!! I was to late!

  17. A. Alberts on October 23, 2021 at 10:32 am

I do wish boot makers would make more wide-calf boots, or at least include zippers on the inner side so it’s more adjustable!

  18. Laurie L on October 23, 2021 at 10:34 am

Put it all together and we all look like clowns lol

  19. TheAmiMom on October 23, 2021 at 10:34 am

I have a car coat in kelly green from about 20 years back!

  20. A. Alberts on October 23, 2021 at 10:35 am

Love my Western shooties! I got on a kick all on my own a couple years ago and got several pairs. For some reason they re the only pointy shoes that don’t kill my toes. I have a pair of black parachutes, and they’re only for snowy/windy weather. Am not liking the kelly green anything–but sometimes after seeing something around enough I start to like it, so we’ll see. I realized I do not have one single kelly green item. And only a few other greens. NOT olive, that is horrible on my already olive complexion. My most flattering color is turquoise. Not many other colors flatter except the ones that flatter everyone–white, beige, black, grey, wine.

The blouse looks beautiful on you! Thanks for the great content!

  23. AuntyM66 on October 23, 2021 at 10:38 am

I missed the Karen Brit chick the drop. I wanted the combat trousers. The blouse looks lovely on you. I am influenced by the 1970s. Not interested in the any other area. I hate tights. I wear stockings or the half way house.

  24. Danceswithveils Lily on October 23, 2021 at 10:39 am

Low rise looks terrible on everyone. No matter how skinny you are, it just doesn’t flatter the silhouette. I thought Gen Z was into high rise mom jeans lol. Fashion trends change too fast now.

  25. Jackie Blakemore on October 23, 2021 at 10:41 am

    Low rise jeans???
They’ve only just gone out of fashion after more than 20 year’s!!
Thank god for that,, an awful extremely long lasting trend.

  26. Florida Native LH on October 23, 2021 at 10:43 am

What is the very cool plant behind you, Leoni? 😉

  27. Katalin Gerstenberger on October 23, 2021 at 10:43 am

I think western style boots are classic and will never be dated…

  28. Michelle Shelly Style / Fashion over 60 on October 23, 2021 at 10:45 am

A big No to low rise ( think Plumbers Crack !) , Kelly Green 👍, Parachute Pants No, Western Boots Not For Me, Geo Prints No again , Sheer Tights hell No Patterned No but Black Opaque Yes xx

  29. Banditas ydemas on October 23, 2021 at 10:47 am

Love all these but maybe the geo prints is the one I would not buy (though I think my mum has something like that😊) Also she has this ballon nylon pant in yellow from the 80’s that I will probably wear😁. Also although I love the highwaist jeans I like too the low rise ones…while they are loose and not super low rise! 😋

  30. lisap3.2 on October 23, 2021 at 10:48 am

I’m here for mid-rise jeans (not low…). The super high rise look ridiculous on me with short waist. They basically come up to my bra, and I prefer wearing shirts to pants there😊

  31. Phyllis Chamberlain on October 23, 2021 at 10:54 am

Well the green is very nice and I do like that green but yeah that fits what people are wearing with that green spoil in the green lady in the black and green belt white skirt not too bad at all that’s not that that’s a bit more sensible should I say sorry to be not being horrible I’m just passing my opinion yeah about like in the more not liking them he said to comments I have done out you don’t mind thank you

  32. Mary Miller on October 23, 2021 at 10:54 am

Is Kelly green only ok to wear in Spring/Summer? Can I wear in Fall?

  33. Chris Webb on October 23, 2021 at 10:54 am

    I 💚 Kelly green!!!

  34. Maria Bibic on October 23, 2021 at 10:57 am

love! love! love! sheer tights great for hiding all my leg imperfections including spider veins

  35. Aisha B. on October 23, 2021 at 10:58 am

No, please no low rise jeans! but I can see why… it works better with the baggy trend. However, I’m not 17 anymore so I’m leaving that trend back in the 90s and Y2K. 🤣 Western boots, Yes…fun tights Bigger YES! 😍

  36. jacqueline schael on October 23, 2021 at 10:58 am

Oh boy, I’m not sure about any of these returning trends but of course, it all depends on the individual garment. Hosiery just bugs me when I go to the potty; it always gets tangled with my panties!

  37. Salonsloan on October 23, 2021 at 10:58 am

That’s awesome you 2 supporting one another 🦋

  38. Ana Valencia on October 23, 2021 at 10:59 am

Low rise jeans are the cause of a lot of my body image issues! 😕 I would not be wearing those at all

  39. Deborah Edelman on October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am

You always look great in a blouse with a bit of a puff sleeve!!

  40. SUMMER Time on October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am

You totally do not know how to get to the point…..you BORED me to death with your brrrrrrrr🤬🤬🤬

  41. Amy McCreary on October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am

    👍💕🌈🌹

  42. cindylou1108 on October 23, 2021 at 11:02 am

High rise, low rise, idk what to buy anymore for style. Except for comfort and what I like, and it’s not low rise.

  43. Phyllis Chamberlain on October 23, 2021 at 11:04 am

Are you catering for young ones all the time middle-aged or old people because these jeans are ripped jeans I hate those I wouldn’t be seen dead in a horrible and then what you’re talking about now oh God it gets worse don’t like them either sorry I don’t like you glass drinking coffee and that either sorry you’re better off doing a bit more elegant close sophisticated instead of all this ripped jeans law is not vista catered that isn’t is not very nice and I don’t like to say I’m in the Younghans like it there enough let them wear it but I’m not wearing that sort of thing I don’t I don’t suppose it would either you don’t like what you call young you’re not old butWould you wear ripped jeans I want no way let me know in the comments if you’d wear them

  44. Virginia on October 23, 2021 at 11:05 am

I’ve been on the lookout for a vintage green silk or linen blouse or top for a while and had no idea anyone else cared about this color. It’d be nice to see a color besides blue once in a while! Blue can be great on people with brown eyes but mine are green. And I’m so here for the sheer tights!

  45. Sybil Francis on October 23, 2021 at 11:05 am

Being Texan but living abroad I was almost born in western boots and rode western most of my life. So I have a wardrobe of western boots and they are never out of style for me. I love the Ralph Lauren look of mixing western boots with midi skirts. And ultra feminine outfits even lace…it looks great on me with my Theatrical Romantic body…I rarely wear them with jeans now,

  46. L CB on October 23, 2021 at 11:06 am

Yes to all except the geometric patterns.

  47. Hummingbird 88 on October 23, 2021 at 11:08 am

I am partial to a darker green, such as Forest Green. As far a parachute pants, some of you may find this strange. I was still working in the early 2000’s, and purchased a pair of black parachute work pants. The reason I liked them – they don’t pick up pet fur! I rescue cats mainly, so never wear black because of pet hair! But those parachute pants in black were worn so much! I really loved them! Haven’t had a pair of black pants since!😻🕊

  48. Lynne Newell on October 23, 2021 at 11:12 am

Love that sheer tights are back in fashion… when you are over 60 women’s legs look so much better with tights- not a good look without them!

  49. Retrograde UXD on October 23, 2021 at 11:13 am

    Tights for life.

  50. Mary Norton on October 23, 2021 at 11:14 am

Low rise jeans should be banished to the depths of hell. That is all.
