I remember in high school when bell bottoms/flares came back into style for girls, that was around 1996/97. Bell bottoms were really popular in the 70’s, and went out of style in the early 80’s.

  15. SunnyGirl on August 6, 2021 at 9:47 pm

In the 90’s every house had like 10 kids lol and everyone was outside riding bikes and jumping over trash cans with skate boards while eating 25 cent chips soda and debbie snacks. Every adult was your parent and your neighbors became your first friends. Kids had so much fun in the 90s Its practically unexplainable.

As a girl in the 90’s, my fashion moment was having a Nick Carter mushroom cut with the curtain fringe. Apparently my parents wanted me to look more like a member of a teenage boy band. 😂

  35. Kelly Lee on August 6, 2021 at 10:11 pm

    Nice try but:
    – LL Cool J’s song "I’m Bad" was back in the 80’s. I’m thinking around 1986-87 time frame.
    – Mood Rings were more of an 80’s thing than a 90’s thing. It just carried over.
    – Crimped hair was more of an 80’s thing. By the 90’s, not many people wore it.
    – See above but change crimped hair with jelly shoes… much more 80’s than 90’s, especially in neon.

    On the flip side:
    – I LOVED my butterfly clips!
    – I LOVED my chokers!

  36. Steph Suarez on August 6, 2021 at 10:11 pm
