  11. Barbara Gordon on May 22, 2021 at 7:15 pm

This chick actually said a sweater vest isn’t classic. It’s literally a clothing item that you can see being worn in 1920 and that’s still worn today.
    😂👎 lost credibility there.

  12. Veronica B on May 22, 2021 at 7:16 pm

Good lord if those are the Winter 2021, then l am glad we are locked down till Easter. 😂🇬🇧

  13. Wendy O Koopa on May 22, 2021 at 7:17 pm

Does anyone know of a good reasonably priced big leather crossbody bag without chain straps? I checked sak(the sak not Saks 5th) and they’re not as good as they look.

  16. crusty bobusty on May 22, 2021 at 7:22 pm

Anyone else absolutely hate capes? They remind me of something the middle aged real housewives of whatever city would wear, with trashy stiletto heels, skinny Jeans and big sunglasses lmao.

  17. Heidi Herget on May 22, 2021 at 7:22 pm

When I married an Australian in 1996, I moved from Toronto to Perth. I actually bought a floor length pure wool coat from Country Road (like a Banana Republic) for $800. EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS. I’ve only ever worn it in Melbourne (gets brrr in winter) and Toronto when home for a visit. It is in perfect condition – glad I kept it now!

  18. Lede Pat on May 22, 2021 at 7:24 pm

    2021 fashion= 90’s on repeat

  19. Princess Grace on May 22, 2021 at 7:24 pm

I own real fur but all from vintage shops so basically they’re previously owned from decades ago..

  20. freespirit on May 22, 2021 at 7:24 pm

I strongly disagree with the sweater vest. Some people just don’t understand what works in European style. It is a classic dear. Either the fitted or baggy vest, European ladies have been rocking that style since forever. But I guess, it is different in North America. I find the styles which instagram influencers and fashion bloggers in America gravitate towards are what brands push them to follow, even when it is lacking in posh. Take for exaple the small sunglasses, it is so tacky. Even when it was considered trendy in 2020.

  21. glitzygirl05 on May 22, 2021 at 7:28 pm

real fur because it decomposes and doesn’t sit in a land fill for the rest of time

  22. siix siix on May 22, 2021 at 7:31 pm

Ugh I thought this was more of a liar type thing. Theres SO much talking

  23. dounia el on May 22, 2021 at 7:34 pm

History repeat itself, all those designers get inspired buy previous trends … and when they try to make something new it last for 1/2 seasons…

  24. Tree Tree on May 22, 2021 at 7:36 pm

I’ve been wearing vintage ski suits to go on walks and stuff. Vintage Bogner and Nils ski suits are flying off resale shelves, eBay and Posh. If you live in a seasonal state, you know it’s cold out. I don’t need to be told what is trendy in 2021 when I have to stand in an outside line to get into a store. Although, I like the video, we need to get real here. A cape when it’s 9 degrees outside…nope. Influencing fashion during covid…nope. Ski suits to get out of the house…Yes.

The issue I see the most brought up with faux fur is that it’s made out of plastic and the quality of the faux fur doesn’t last as long as traditional fur. So not only is it not good for the environment but you need to buy more because the life of the garment is shorter. On one hand your killing an animal and on the other your killing the planet. I do see company’s using recycled plastic for faux fur but that doesn’t improv the quality or solve the short lifespan of the garment. Resulting in need for producing more and that is a big issue. On the fur side I see people argue that the animal would die anyway as a result of other industries using that animal for products. The question is then become how well is the animal treatment during its lifespan. That’s a far and important question. When it comes to the science of each argument both have pros and cons. Each person must research on their own and make a decision but it’s wrong bully someone else for coming to a different decision. I respect others discussion and believe they can wear what they want to and still not be discriminated because of it.

The thing that confuses me the most about a brands decision on what to create is how come some animal products are bad while others are good. Why use faux fur but then use other animal products like real leather and feathers . They are both animal products. I can respect a company that has done research and build a brand on beliefs but when it’s done as a trend and only applied in one area it’s feels more Corporation and less animal activist. It really gives me a message they only stand for money and not really care about any issues. The brands that do I can at least respect. even if there are negative effects to there to their ideals and actions. At least they are being pro active and not reactive. I respect them even more when they try to address those negative like using recycle plastic or using animals that have been treated well. When brands change because it’s trending is just cringe. I know it won’t really hurt the image of any brand talking about it but I still had to bring it up. 👍

Is it just me or you look like Angelina Jolie 🧐🧐

  30. Allison Colborne on May 22, 2021 at 7:42 pm

Your fashion knowledge only goes back to the 1990s? Patches / patchwork was huge in the late 1960s through the 1970s. Patchwork bags, color blocked bags. DIY patchwork. Hair also. Clipping, flipped out ends. That’s late 1960s early 1970s also.

I’m vegan but see no problem in wearing vintage fur or inherited fur like what my grandma left

  34. Dewain Alexander on May 22, 2021 at 7:46 pm

I love capes and I have three. It makes me feel chic. No to cutouts. I just don’t get it. It’s like random facial hair. Why???

  35. Evelyn's creative adventure! on May 22, 2021 at 7:49 pm

It’s funny, I’ve been watching a lot of these 2021 fashion prediction videos, but I’m like the least fashionable person ever 😂

  36. LAURA TREFRY on May 22, 2021 at 7:51 pm

Second hand is the best way to do real or fake fur. I personally love fur. I usually add a vintage fur collar to my blazer collars or other costs I already have. A full fur coat makes me look a bit bigger and bulkier. So the collar for me is the best way to wear fur.

The yellow is ALL over and I love it! Knowing that capes are still in and continuing to grow is really cool. I create my own clothes so caplets are ez to add more of them in the wardrobe.

Hi!! Can you cover leather trend including patent pieces as it’s very in now 🥰

  43. Pi for breakfast on May 22, 2021 at 7:55 pm

I’m against faux fur (and polyester) because plastic breaks down and the micro plastic finds its way into our waters. This happens even when you wash your polyester clothes in the washing machine. We now have a problem with our oceans being contaminated with micro plastics that we can’t clean up.

It’s not just wearing a dead carcass it’s how the animal suffered. There is no need for such cruelty.

  47. alia Perez on May 22, 2021 at 7:57 pm

I understand that fur can be considered wrong by some people but it is so warm.

  48. Joann Evans on May 22, 2021 at 7:58 pm

I’m in love with my fur coat and faux fur this winter, with Minus 2 degrees as our temperature those are the only coats to try to stay warm,

  49. loveea other on May 22, 2021 at 7:59 pm

I think what "trends" is wear what you want ! Screw "trends" People telling us what we should wear should be Soooooooo "over"

  50. Owani Iroso on May 22, 2021 at 8:02 pm

I have a faux fur and the same earrings your sporting but I’m in los Angeles honestly so does it really get cold enough to put on a fur coat, I don’t know why people are making a big deal over fur when they still wearing leather Shoes and Handbags and wallets people really need to get over it maybe I’m just insensitive.
