Trying Fashion Trends Through The Decades! 100 Years of Fashion

Dressing like different decades aesthetics as we look at 100 years of fashion trends (1920-2020) ‘Fashion Through The Decades’ is something I’ve tried before, on a lesser scale, but with 2020 upon us I thought it’d be the perfect time to take a look back at trends gone by. Anyone else realize how sad it is how we have come so far downhill in regards to our fashion?

  6. Sofia Berrux Subs on July 15, 2021 at 2:29 am

The 90s looked based off the 60s tbh. Like Daphne with the boots and skirts.

  7. Sydney Mullins on July 15, 2021 at 2:30 am

First time I’ve seen someone consider the 2010s and how that decade will be remembered! No one ever discusses this. Thanks for a great video!

  8. smelly lorenny on July 15, 2021 at 2:32 am

Sorry but I ADORE the low rise jeans. Yes they’re tacky, yes they’re shocking, yes I do wonder who the hell thought it was a good idea, and I’m living for it. Sorry to sound weird here, but I’d KILL to have a bod like yours to rock the low rise, even though you hate it, it’s so flattering on you! I own some low rise pants but because I have a bit of a belly and a snail trail I cannot go out in them, at least without wearing something long enough to cover up my gross 40-something beer-gut man looking tum (LMFAO).

  9. M_JYI on July 15, 2021 at 2:32 am

Wow the 1930s is so beautiful

  10. ivetofta on July 15, 2021 at 2:32 am

  13. bubble on July 15, 2021 at 2:33 am

I honestly love 60’s & 70’s looks. I normally wear those decade’s styles on my everyday life! Do i get stared at? A LOT! Especially when i’m in college and people think I just came back from Woodstock 😂

  14. Frida Opskar on July 15, 2021 at 2:34 am

maybe a bit strange, but my favourite decade for fashion is actually the 80s, I just love how insane it was

  15. Jalen Curry on July 15, 2021 at 2:39 am

    AYO you creasing the FORCES😐

  16. Tegan Sigafoos on July 15, 2021 at 2:40 am

I totally agree! I thought I was the only one my age who didn’t like 80s style and fashion and thought it was gaudy. However the bright and bold is more pop culture, and honestly the common people wore some pretty aesthetic stuff I’d wear now (in my opinion) love your vids!

  17. oh.no.its.sydney on July 15, 2021 at 2:40 am

YOU LOOK SO GOOD IN LOW RISE JEANS

  18. emo.mermaidd on July 15, 2021 at 2:40 am

The 60s look reminds me of Blossom from Powerpuff Girls!

  19. Visionary on July 15, 2021 at 2:41 am

l think that the first half of the tens 2010-2013-14 were VERY 80s and EARLY 90s inspired. Espiacially looking at LMFAO, Rihanna wth her red hair, Beyonce’s Theirry Mugler phase and all the 80s rock/grunge fashion in 2012. The last 5 years fashion been really dulled down by the kardashians.

  20. Jeffrey Rainey on July 15, 2021 at 2:42 am

Has any decade before the 21st century blatantly brought back elements of earlier times into pop culture? I.E. The 90s seemed to have a lot of nostalgia from the 1960s. I should disclose that I’m more a musician, rather than a fashion observer. But as other comments have pointed out, our ability to archive everything today via the internet will have an impact on how people in decades to come, study us.

  21. michal on July 15, 2021 at 2:43 am

Can we just appreciate the makeup looks for each outfit!! U go girl

  22. evie on July 15, 2021 at 2:43 am

  23. Anna Harner on July 15, 2021 at 2:45 am

    I can’t decide between the ‘80s or the 2000’s.

I feel like dua Lipa is touching on the 60s and 90s style a bit again 🤗

  31. It’s just me, Leena on July 15, 2021 at 2:54 am

My favourite time periods for fashion would probably be from least to most
    3) 50s
    2) 70s
    1) 90s has to be my favourite

  32. Margo-Sophie Hawkins on July 15, 2021 at 2:54 am

Girl you look way better in those low rise jeans than I ever could don’t worry

  33. Belvedere Antoinette on July 15, 2021 at 2:58 am

  34. StealTheSpotlight on July 15, 2021 at 2:59 am

    ★HAPPY NEW DECADE!★
I thought this would be a fun video to start us off for 2020 but keep in mind I know it’s not exactly historically accurate but I was using items I had available to me and tried to stay on theme best I could! *What decade do you want to go back to???*

  35. Morgan Elizabeth on July 15, 2021 at 3:01 am

In 2010 I was the biggest emo dork. I wore band trees, ripped jeans with patches and i razor cut my bangs. That was such an interesting phase for me. I know dress more androgynous and I think it’s because emo styles were the first to really accept that. Like yes in the 80s woman wore blazer but that’s wear showing their masculine side stopped.

  36. Reshmi Chetry on July 15, 2021 at 3:07 am

    Omg loved it😍❤❤❤

  37. Kelsie the smartass Fukuhara on July 15, 2021 at 3:07 am

40s, 60s, 70s and 90s for sure! Those are my favorite fashion decades.

  38. Kellyjean on July 15, 2021 at 3:10 am

The low rise looks good on you though

  39. Dancingirl on July 15, 2021 at 3:12 am

The butterfly stuff was actually in the 90’s. 00’s should have been furry like or sequins tube top or 3/4 sleeve shirt

  40. Adèle on July 15, 2021 at 3:13 am

I just looooove so much the whole vibe of the 80’s 😍

  41. Leticia Leuzinger on July 15, 2021 at 3:13 am

My favorites would probably be the 70’s, 90’s and 2000’s

  42. S S on July 15, 2021 at 3:13 am

When I think of 2010s style all I can think of is galaxy print, flower crowns, skater dresses ,Aztec prints, colored skinny jeans, the return of high waisted shorts, gladiator sandals, high low skirts and dresses, those chunky heeled ankle boots, studded everything 😂 I could literally go on and on

  43. DALIA on July 15, 2021 at 3:15 am

Idk how fashion took such a downfall in my opinion. Like imagine living in the 60s and then seeing what people wore in 2017 it’s tragic really and white it is now getting better I just think there’s something so lack luster about fashion trends now a days and I just find myself liking thrifted alt styles from other time eras. Even sadder thing is that so many people get stuff from thrift stores now that there will be a point were we can’t get all those cute outfits anymore and as someone who doesn’t live in the us there basically are no thrift stores.

  44. Lady Green sleeves on July 15, 2021 at 3:15 am

    Love the 30’s dress!!!

  45. Dana maybe on July 15, 2021 at 3:16 am

I think a typical outfit for the 10s is blue ripped jeans, with black (chunky) sneakers and a black and white striped top

  46. Christian Maegerle on July 15, 2021 at 3:17 am

Does anyone realize how much work and effort she puts in to make these videos? Like sis does a different makeup look for each outfit. I think she deserves an applause.

  47. Briana Shea on July 15, 2021 at 3:17 am

the reason you had to dig more for 30s fashion was probably in part due to the great depression in the US. ppl probably weren’t as worried about being trendy as they were about feeding their families

  48. SC Firebird on July 15, 2021 at 3:18 am

thank you so much for making this. I cant decide on a fav decade for fashion, i love 60s, 80s, and 90s

  49. baby bat on July 15, 2021 at 3:18 am

ok nobody @ me but the 80s were the best decade for fashion, might just be me being goth tho lmao

  50. Caracola 1 on July 15, 2021 at 3:18 am
