How much yarn in meters do you use for making this dress? I want to make it but don’t want to start without enough of the same colour yarn 😅

Hello and thank you for a beautiful pattern. I’m making the 12 months size. I’m at the part it says *6 knit, inc 1 around. I’ve ripped out 2 times as I don’t come out even. I worked it out I have 124 sts left to start joining in the round. I end with inc k5 or something like that. Not k 6 inc. can you tell me what I’m doing wrong please? Thank you.

Beautiful little dress, thank you SO much for your detailed explanation. So clever that we started at the top and worked down, made it very exciting to slowly see it ‘revealed’ Bless you for posting, this is going to be for our new granddaughter due in August xxx

Your directions do not match the given written directions. If i follow the written directions will my garment turn out right? No where did it say slip off first stitch then knit . I like to know if my garment is going to work.

Hi. I love this video. It was so easy to follow. You explain this pattern very well. You did a excellent job. I have one question. How to make the sleeves longer? I am using this pattern to make burial gowns for my local hospital and they would prefer the sleeves to be long. I am going to add lace, ribbons and bows and decorative buttons. I have been looking for a pattern that I could knit. I am 64 yrs old and done basic knitting. I am retired and have lots of time to knit and crochet for my local hospital. Thank you for this pattern. God Bless.

I am finding it difficult to follow without knowing number of stitches in each part of the pattern, such as the band of seed stitch before skirt begins, written pattern doesn’t have stitch numbers either 😔

I just finished this beautiful dress, I just need to ask you , why does the increase parts look so not right, I used a very light pink color and it shows all the increase parts , is there any other way of increasing in a very light color, I tried so many ways but it all looks like I made an error, but I didn’t, I tried a dark color and you cannot see the increases

What length of circular cable is needed for the 12-24 month size?

  42. Scarlett4Zanzibar on January 8, 2022 at 5:04 pm

Thank you for this video but I am already confused because I don’t understand why, on the second row, you slipped one stitch to the right needle without knitting it first. I believe you referred to it as the ‘edge’ stitch? Do you slip one stitch without knitting or purling it at the beginning of every row? I have knitted Ragland sweaters before and have never seen it done this way, so again, I’m already confused. Thank you for your help.

  50. Elizabeth Mullins on January 8, 2022 at 5:16 pm

I have a question: at 4:01 you say that counting the first stitch, we need to knit 9 stitches. However, you knit 6. I noticed at the end when you finish that row, you finish with 6 knit stitches. Is it then supposed to be 6 and not 9? Please let me know. I want to make sure I have everything right before I start on this pattern.
