He really could have come closer to that Olympic record. He had it in there but was definitely holding back. Excellent heat though.

  14. Juan Castellanos on August 10, 2021 at 9:59 pm

There’s no way the Bolt’s record survives these olympic games.

  15. Joel Driver on August 10, 2021 at 9:59 pm

That’s astonishing to see a 17 year old out there basically crushing some of the fastest men in the world. He literally put the brakes on with 40 meters left and cruised in. You have to think the 100M should also be in his sights.

  16. Sam Williams on August 10, 2021 at 10:01 pm

He’s definitely a problem. Probably will win the next Olympics if not this one

  17. mombojom3 on August 10, 2021 at 10:02 pm

The thing I do not like about Knighton is that he has made the extraordinary look ordinary. Think about it. If you were at a high school track meet and you saw a kid run a 20.55 that easily, you would lose your mind. Like seeing aliens land in your neighborhood. But now we just expect it. And yet it’s so phenomenal.

  18. Bo Reed on August 10, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Wow.. he runs so easy, no struggling, no fighting with his body.. he is the future for the 200 no matter the competition.

  19. Think Tank on August 10, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Erriyon Knighton doesn’t want to show off. He’s a good kid. He’ll be an Olympian/Heisman. USA

  20. jeremy emery on August 10, 2021 at 10:06 pm

he runs so smooth.. Bright future for the Knight

  21. Kulbir Singh on August 10, 2021 at 10:09 pm

He wasn’t even running…more like little fast jogging…the white guy behind was trying really hard

  22. AkaAnt0ni0 on August 10, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Does this remind anyone else of the final scene in "The Incredibles"?

  24. Cy Bolton on August 10, 2021 at 10:14 pm

    Phenomenal talent. Now 17 in 2021, so 20 in 2024, 24 in 2028, 28 in 2032… that’s four do-able Olympics. Learn his name.
