I love your green shirt. I’ve ordered a similar one ) I have a cape coat but wear it rather seldom because the weather in Frankfurt is very changeable and humid in autumn

  2. georgina halfnight on November 3, 2021 at 11:25 am

Too much talk not enough clothes

  3. Gina Reynolds on November 3, 2021 at 11:26 am

I love some of the capes and ponchos. I could see myself wearing them for sure..

  4. Patricia Edwards on November 3, 2021 at 11:26 am

It’s funny you say green is overlooked. My wardrobe is maybe 70 percent green 😌

Thanks so much for another fantastic video and for breaking down fashion into bite size pieces. I live in Sydney, Australia and I was wondering if you would consider talking to your other subscribers that are currently living in Spring weather with summer fast approaching. After a long lockdown I feel like I don’t know what to wear this summer and what to wear out on a summer evening or even to lunch meeting. Many thanks and enjoy your channel very much ❤️

I’d like to know why fashion is so ugly and deformed for so many years now. The nice things are harder to find. Bring back the well-made fashion from the 70’s.

  13. Catherine3385 on November 3, 2021 at 11:48 am

I love leggings and have been saying for years that I’d love to see stirrup pants/leggings.come back. You saying this is the first I’ve heard of it and I am thrilled.

  14. K MV on November 3, 2021 at 11:50 am

Great video! I love Canadian tuxedos, any denim is great! I love capes/ponchos, too. And as a girl who wears mostly black, I’m loving color!

    I love green!!!!

  17. Royalle Wright on November 3, 2021 at 11:52 am

It’s interesting that you mention capes and ponchos! There’s a Fendi poncho that’s on my Christmas wish list (that I buy for myself) 🎄🎅🏽🤶🏽

  18. Enid Wasfi on November 3, 2021 at 11:55 am

Hi, Love how you present your videos with photo samples of the looks. Always good to see an actual look. Can I please ask if you can reference the photos’ design houses, that would be great. Thanks!

  19. honeybdream on November 3, 2021 at 11:56 am

    Love the bright colours❣️🌈🤩

  20. jdmom29 on November 3, 2021 at 11:57 am

Love everything except the big puffy coat. I’m sure it would add 2 more sizes on me!

  21. Anne Smith on November 3, 2021 at 11:59 am

Ponchos and capes really only look good on tall women…

  22. jacqueline schael on November 3, 2021 at 11:59 am

I love green but not too keen on the Kelly shade. Leggings? Pretty tired of them. Nice white rushing dress on 8:24. Puffers as long as not too big. The ponchos, capes and faux fur coats in video look fantastic. Nice maxi dress on 12:50. And color, color, color to cheer up winter! (but not head to toe. Same with denim).
Thanks Leonie for another great video!

  23. Judith Hazlett on November 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm

As a Canadian, I really resent that "Canadian tuxedo" comment. I’ve never heard you slinging insults before.

  24. Carolyn Gibson on November 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm

Love that Fendi poncho! So chic in camel and black.

  25. Dr Dorne Sowerby on November 3, 2021 at 12:01 pm

Greetings from London Leonie. Love your videos! Faux fur, vegan clothes and faux leather are awful for the environment. They contain plans and contribution to the problems of forever chemicals that stay in the landfill for hundreds of years.

  26. Helen Rodriguez on November 3, 2021 at 12:02 pm

Greetings from NYC. By far this was the best update of trends!! Many thanks for the trend tips on how to wear and style them. After all this time I am rock in a poncho that I purchased at a high end thrift and get compliments all the time. Love your shout out to Karen BritChic for the green too.

  27. denise eldred on November 3, 2021 at 12:04 pm

I love capes and ponchos. I have a short, dark tan, short nape faux fur cape that my mom made for herself in the 60’s, a long navy wool Cape with a hood I got several years ago at a thrift store, and a grey and white woven poncho that I’ve had for 20+ years. I’ll be wearing these this fall and winter. Thanks very much for your updates with example pictures of styling these things. I shop my closet with every seasonal update from you!

  28. Anne Smith on November 3, 2021 at 12:04 pm

Again, maxi knits only look good on tall women…they only overwhelm a petite woman

  29. Katerina Chlmi on November 3, 2021 at 12:05 pm

I adore capes. When I need to look professional, like wearing a suit or a blazer, it is usually too hard to find a coat with so wide sleeves to actually feel comfortable wearing both just to keep warm. Then, here comes the cape!

  30. zabindhanji on November 3, 2021 at 12:05 pm

I love midi sweater dresses and have recently started wearing mine with midi-length cardigans. The other trend that I am loving and embracing this season (you mentioned it in a recent video and I saw it in some of the photos in this video) are cream/light coloured boots.

  31. Starfish W on November 3, 2021 at 12:05 pm

Enlightened faux fur at last. No one had to suffer and die for
    ‘elegance’!

  32. Rubi Cox on November 3, 2021 at 12:05 pm

Love ponchos and capes. One of my favorite styles🤗👍

  33. TOOT T on November 3, 2021 at 12:06 pm

👋🏽Hi Leonie. Thank you for these great styling ideas…..

I like ponchos and capes on others. I own a few, but I’m not a big fan.

  34. Julie L on November 3, 2021 at 12:07 pm

I love how you are able to be so excited about the winter trends when you live in the Southern Hemisphere. I like your no nonsense take on fashion. I bought a cape last winter and love it. I intentionally bought it to wear over my trench coat when I wanted warmth over the coat. I use it for travel too. Only down side is that it is an ivory color, beautiful but I have to really be careful with it so it doesn’t get dirty!

  35. Bogna Rossy on November 3, 2021 at 12:11 pm

    Love Green 👍

  36. Louise Dolloff on November 3, 2021 at 12:13 pm

I Love the denim trend ♥️ I have a bunch of different items in denim, dresses, jackets, trench coat, skirts, etc… No to capes and ponchos. I live in Lower Alaska, more commonly known as Montana, and we get super cold. And we have wind. And wind chill. You will freeze to death trying to keep a cape or poncho around you unless it’s so long it drags on the ground… 🥶

  37. relysh65 on November 3, 2021 at 12:13 pm

My favorite poncho is I think from Ecuador . My parents bought it for me in the 80tys.ItsFolk art from real soft wool. Happy to wear it again

  38. Charlene P. Santos on November 3, 2021 at 12:13 pm

💯💖 I have always loved the color green since I was a child. I’ve been wearing all shades of green no matter what the color trend is. I also buy classic power prints that are perfect for the fall and winter seasons 🤗. My first stirrup leggings were was a matching outfit with my momma when I was just a little girl. Everything you are sharing is in my closet because I shop at the thrift shops and never got rid of my late momma’s clothes. Still wear them and now my own granddaughter shops in my closet. Yay💯🤗😁 I love your channel and I am so glad that YouTube recommended your channel 💯🤗❤️

Wow these are so beauty ❤

  40. Evon Bitton on November 3, 2021 at 12:16 pm

I enjoyed it as always ♥️♥️♥️♥️

  41. heather on November 3, 2021 at 12:18 pm

Knitted maxi dress screams 80’s to me 🙁 However, a very light knee knee length, so feminine rather than chunky, I would wear that- if I could find one! I’m big on pink for this winter. On my list is pink cashmere and a pink trench, blush rather than bright of course!

  42. Christine Mason on November 3, 2021 at 12:18 pm

lol Obviously you don t have winter. These are not winter clothes.

  43. Trisha333 on November 3, 2021 at 12:18 pm

I noticed that you do give shout outs to KarenBritchick a lot and I think that’s great. Have you ever had a reply comment from her? I watch her channel, but I am much older than she is. I am sure that I am many years older than you, too, but I much prefer your style suggestions.🥰

  44. Karen Whynott on November 3, 2021 at 12:19 pm

Great video..thanks Leoni…you always deliver. I bought a green puffer….olive green I believe. Looking forward to the cold temperatures to wear it. Thanks 😊🙏

  45. Michelle Guevremont on November 3, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Sorry but denim is for summer in Canada

  46. Ann Ali on November 3, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Another great video Leonie! Love the pics selected as they give great visual. I am so excited to pull out some of my pieces- puffer jackets, my faux furs jackets and vests and I have added some new sweaters in vibrant colors to my wardrobe for the season. Love watching your videos 😘

  47. Sweet Like Style on November 3, 2021 at 12:21 pm

Your so right about green being a huge trend! I used to hate green, but it has been slowly growing on me

  48. Sherry Edwards on November 3, 2021 at 12:23 pm

Great tips. Yes I always wear capes, ponchos and ruannas. I don’t care if they are in or out they are always in for me.

  49. Marta Neves on November 3, 2021 at 12:23 pm

Capes and ponchos are beautiful, but when you live in a cold climate, you have to remove it to put on your winter coat, carry the poncho in a bag and then put it on when you get to work. This is not super practical.

  50. Corinne Lizza on November 3, 2021 at 12:23 pm

Great vid👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻can’t go bk. to stirrups😆but still luv the capes (like fringes but think it looks dated/frumpy now IMO) but luv all your ideas🥂
