I loved baby wearing. Boba was my choice for stretchy wrap and structured carrier. My friend did a bunch of their photography, so she introduced me to them. I also loved my woven wraps. They’re so supportive and beautiful. I still have one even though my youngest is 8! I just can’t quite give it away.

  2. almmason7 on August 28, 2021 at 10:12 pm

The baby ktan states it can be used for older babies in 5 different positions in the original size that you purchased as an infant.

  3. kim wiser on August 28, 2021 at 10:14 pm

I can not figure out how you would put the baby on your back in a woven wrap. I assume it’s a two person job.

  4. Taylor Viles on August 28, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Have you ever tried a ring sling??

  5. Diwa on August 28, 2021 at 10:16 pm

How to you take the baby out and put him to sleep?

  6. Wonderful Messy Sweet Life on August 28, 2021 at 10:16 pm

Great video!! Thanks for going thru all the trouble. It’s super helpful! We’re expecting our 3rd so this will definitely come in handy. 😊

  7. Paola Jones on August 28, 2021 at 10:17 pm

This is incredibly informative- thank you very much for this video 🙏🏼

  8. Jemimah Whitehead on August 28, 2021 at 10:18 pm

I love this ! I am loving the Ktan wrap – I have bought the Konny Baby Carrier which is similar – less fabric, and simple to use.
I am worried though as you mentioned – the con of a "set" wrap, baby will grow quickly and my body could change, and as it isn’t adjustable, it limits the time to use it.

  9. flowyabe on August 28, 2021 at 10:22 pm

Really useful video – thank you!!!!!

  10. Martina on August 28, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Hi! Thanks for your fantastic tutorial. I bought Boba wrap and now I can tie thanks to you, but I have some difficulties to wear baby k’tan! The real problem is that my daughter doesn’t want to stay in.
    Can I facing out?
Can you suggest a baby carrier? Do you know ergobaby (omni 360)? Cotton or cool air mesh?
I’d want to buy it when ny daughter will be a little bit greater ( now she is 2 months).

  11. La Trace on August 28, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Thank you for addressing the safety concerns right in the beginning of the video. I’ve watched dozens of videos about various baby carriers and you are the first person to have specifically to offer a warning a couple of best practices when carrying a baby. I didn’t realize the rule about being able to kiss their head, but I’m really glad you mentioned that.

New dad… probably tied my beluga wrap 20 times now and still can’t quite get it 😅 not gonna quit yet !

  16. erin 89F on August 28, 2021 at 10:33 pm

I know this is an older video, but I’m on the shorter side (5’ 0”) and am curious if there is a baby carrier wrap that’s more “short mom” friendly?

  17. ro skywalker on August 28, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Thank you so much for this video, having my baby girl in 4 days & I have 2 other kids I’m sure I’ll benefit from having a baby wrap this time. I went ahead and ordered the boba wrap they always have a 10% off code + free shipping. I paid $38.

  18. Life of Kylie on August 28, 2021 at 10:35 pm

I came across your video trying to find a wrap that I can use, as I have physical limitations. I found this incredibly educational. Thank you for posting this!

  19. Nisa on August 28, 2021 at 10:37 pm

I wonder how to positioned a newborn in this wrap, isn’t his leg would be opened too wide?

  20. Alicja Szubert on August 28, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Have you tried the new Serenity Wrap by Boba? Not sure if I should get that one as opposed to the original. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  21. Janine Dear-Barlow on August 28, 2021 at 10:40 pm

I’m going to weave my own wrap for when my baby is born.

  22. Chubb House on August 28, 2021 at 10:40 pm

With my second kiddo I watched your 3 year old thing a baby wrap video. And it made things so much easier. Thanks for all your great mama content. 💛

  23. nicole pilgrim on August 28, 2021 at 10:45 pm

African tribes people was “baby wearing”’ for centuries with a piece of cloth and not much problems

  24. alidxn on August 28, 2021 at 10:47 pm

Amazing, very informative! I soon going to be a first time mom and I already bought the Tula explore SSC , now I think I should have bought baby wrap instead of baby carrier for my first baby because you mentioned you can co-sleep with baby in the wrap, oh no 😣. I would love to do that too. I want to keep it at minimal when buying baby stuff, but do you think I should get the wrap too now? Hope to get reply on this from Lisa or other viewers…

  25. twistedlymemorable on August 28, 2021 at 10:50 pm

Have you tried any back carries? You can’t do them with a newborn but with a 1+ year old there are a few options!

  26. safiyyah S on August 28, 2021 at 10:50 pm

Please note that you can buy stretchy hybrid wraps which can be worn on the back like the JPMBB

  27. Aarron176 on August 28, 2021 at 10:51 pm

You should really renamed this video to the best "woven baby carrier" I get youtube algorithm but this is only on wraps not actaul baby carriers with clips/etc. Nice video though.

  28. Beth Voyles on August 28, 2021 at 10:52 pm

When can you start wearing your baby in a wrap. My granddaughter is 1 month old. I’m planning to DIY a Boba wrap.

  29. Lorena Ledesma on August 28, 2021 at 10:52 pm

excellent video. but just notice that the baby’s feet should be outside de wrap.

  30. Leah Caplan on August 28, 2021 at 10:54 pm

My goddaughter is due in 3 weeks and I’m in a wheelchair. I won’t be able to use a pushchair for godmama duty so I’m learning to baby wear with a doll. This is soooo helpful thank you 🙏🏼

  31. R Yetman on August 28, 2021 at 10:54 pm

Do you think summer time is absolutely too warm for the boba? Trying to decide on an overall winner between the boba or solly. May due date.

  32. Strength of a woman on August 28, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Thank you so much I’m definitely getting the boba knit wrap now for my July baby 🤗

  33. T Splon on August 28, 2021 at 10:56 pm

First time mom here! Thanks for the video and explanations! Very helpful. The only other thing though, that struck me is the babies inability to be put down without screaming his head off when he’s not being worn. That’s freaking me out a bit. I think I’ll do more research before I decide to do the whole wearing the baby thing! Thanks for sharing!

  34. Meagan Claire on August 28, 2021 at 10:57 pm

This is probably a completely wasted comment, but whatever. I’m surprised to hear you say woven wraps are less comfortable (maybe is the osnaburg?). I used a Solly for the first 3 months of my first child’s life, and when I tried a woven (Girasol regular twill) and was shocked at the upgrade in level of support and comfort. I embraced wovens with Didymos and never looked back.

  35. Alex Qi on August 28, 2021 at 10:58 pm

Thank you for sharing. You can wear the Boba one until what age of the baby?

  36. Julia McCoey on August 28, 2021 at 10:59 pm

incredibly useful review that’s straight and to the point, thank you!

  37. SeaRose on August 28, 2021 at 10:59 pm

I am on baby number 5, I actually have had that unicorn of the baby wearing world; the baby that hates being worn!
My 4th LOVED to be held, but never in a carrier. So I just haven’t had arms for the past 2 years LOL. My older three all loved being worn, we shall see about this new baby.

  38. Victoria Ferguson on August 28, 2021 at 11:00 pm

  43. Noemi on August 28, 2021 at 11:04 pm

Hi,great video thank you. I absolutely love your mei tai, I know it was diy, however, does this kind of mei tai exist? Could you please tell me a name or brand? Also can it be used for older babies? Thank you so much again 🙂

  44. J J on August 28, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I cannnnot waaait to wear my little baby son around all day lol

  45. Katie Harper on August 28, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Thanks for a very helpful video. I also live my boba wrap- it’s my favourite baby wearing. Do you know if I can get anything similar in mesh? I live in Singapore and it’s so hot that the boba isn’t great for outdoors. I’ve tried to find something similar in mesh though because I love it so much.

  46. safiyyah S on August 28, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Ok meet my middle kid, until 6 months she hated all carriers so it can happen

  47. Salty Bear on August 28, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I have that mint green one. Never seemed to be snug enough and the head part was always loose. I prefer my CBX carrier but you’re right, back hurts after a while. What do you think about a ring sling?

  48. Martina on August 28, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Ciao. Grazie per il tuo tutorial,è perfetto e molto chiaro!!!
Fino a quando si può usare la fascia? Come si lega per far stare il bambino fronte strada?
