What Women Are Wearing In Paris | Parisian Street Style 2019

What Women Are Wearing In Paris. Parisian Street Style 2019.

Want to know what women are wearing on the streets of Paris right now? Then you are going to love this week’s episode. We’re talking about the trends, styles, accessories, and shoes that real Parisians are wearing.

My husband and I recently returned from our 10-year anniversary trip and I was all about spotting street style and snapping pics of the French girls in their natural habitat.

For the most part, I knew what to expect. However, there were a few things I saw French women wearing that did surprise me. In fact, there was one accessory I spotted the majority of people wearing that was so simple I couldn’t believe it.

You’ll have to watch through to the end of the video to find out what it is!

P.S. – As I mentioned in last week’s vlog, I created a special map of over 90 choice locations (and growing) in Paris that I visited and some that I desperately wanted to visit. Head here to get it: https://www.etsy.com/listing/747012893/paris-plan-google-map?ref=shop_home_feat_1

I totally get the shoe choices. I walk and AVERAGE of 12 hours while in Paris. One needs good shoes if one wants to visit Paris. Enjoy your visit there. I lived there for several years and have had wonderful moments of joy and fun and beauty overload… To me, the city is like " my living room". It just feels home walking on Bouleverd St Michel or going to the Jardin de Luxembourg. Just home.

  2. Mary Speidel on July 11, 2021 at 2:16 am

I’ll pass on the tennis shoes.

  3. Alice Reeves on July 11, 2021 at 2:17 am

  4. Germana Guarnaccia on July 11, 2021 at 2:20 am

    Nothing special for sure

  5. reddwarf on July 11, 2021 at 2:21 am

converse is a basketball shoe. either you don’t play tennis or you were born yesterday? good video nevertheless.

  6. RhythmAddictedState on July 11, 2021 at 2:25 am

The Converse thing is so true though, and it doesn’t only apply to Paris. People of (almost) all ages and genders wear them: children, students, people who are over 30 (or even older)… Definitely a French staple. Some other shoes, which aren’t as popular as Converse, but are still seen on French people, would be Nike, New Balance or Stan Smith Adidas.
I used to own two pairs of Converse which I wore throughout my school days and I’ve worn them till they had holes in them. Almost every kid walked in those. I haven’t seen a single French person who hasn’t owned a pair of Converse shoes at some point in their life, it’s crazy lmao

  9. Ahmad Ali Tv on July 11, 2021 at 2:28 am

    You are so beautiful

  10. Charlotte Cherasse on July 11, 2021 at 2:28 am

Okay so after watching this video I just want to bring some informations.
As a Parisian I can say that in Paris we don’t have only one look but a lot of different looks.
I really like to see how people can wear what they want even it’s fashion or not. Living in Paris doesn’t mean you have to dress yourself like in a fashion show.
You can see womens well dressed and the opposite but it’s okay. Everyone has its own representation of fashion.
Take care of yourself all 🙏
    Greetings from Paris 🇨🇵

    More pictures, less talk please.

  12. Kimberly Perrotis on July 11, 2021 at 2:33 am

From the images, the women are wearing more skirts and dresses than I expected, I like that.

  14. xcobmi on July 11, 2021 at 2:33 am

Doesn’t anyone think it’s wrong to include pictures of strangers in a video? I’m pretty sure you didn’t ask for their permission and you’re showing their faces. It’s a no for me, seems so invasive.

  15. Rosie Salinas on July 11, 2021 at 2:40 am

You should go cheek out (eva in the city )

  16. Merry Walsh on July 11, 2021 at 2:40 am

I believe it was Chanel that started the sneaker trend as fashion accessory to pair with both high and low outfits a few years back, so it is fitting that Parisiennes are into them.

  17. Ponsawan Kaewpa on July 11, 2021 at 2:42 am

Emily In Paris brought me here

  18. Lee Yi on July 11, 2021 at 2:44 am

  19. Pierre Pinson on July 11, 2021 at 2:44 am

    🌹 J’aime bien vôtre vidéo. Merci beaucoup🕊🕊🕊.

  20. Lila Lu on July 11, 2021 at 2:47 am

I feel really weird looking at pictures of woman that did not consent you taking these and putting them on the internet. I don’t know about the law in America but in a lot of European countries that’s illegal

  21. Orsolya Toth on July 11, 2021 at 2:47 am

Straw bags are mostly just used when going to the market (or to the beach). Not really an everyday accessory at all. Hello from France!

  22. Margarida M on July 11, 2021 at 2:48 am

I think lately Parisian style has become a little disappointing. Nowadays women seem to dress like teenagers, and not in a very chic way. Tote bags and tennis shoes are not my definition of great style. Anyone can pull that off. I miss the time when women weren’t actually afraid to be grown up women.

  23. Cynthia Sells on July 11, 2021 at 2:49 am

Thank you for sharing something positive about older women. Very encouraging .

  24. fotolove79 on July 11, 2021 at 2:49 am

Vans and Converse? I’m transported back to the 90’s!

  25. Ena Joy De Armas on July 11, 2021 at 2:50 am

better than "Emily in Paris" hehe

  26. Ajme Dosadno on July 11, 2021 at 2:50 am

When so many women wear the same things, it is a lack of style. It’s mere conformity and lack of imagination. Most other Europeans follow the same trend. The real style may still be found in Italy.

  27. Joan Anne Wallace on July 11, 2021 at 2:51 am

I think they all look boring. The New York and UK look far better.

  28. 10Streets on July 11, 2021 at 2:52 am

i love this video brianna im dying to travel to paris i love all of their styles! 😍💜 so pretty

  29. Sara Lin on July 11, 2021 at 2:54 am

Umm weird the obsession and canvas bag is not an accessory

  30. Evgenia Sokolova on July 11, 2021 at 2:55 am

Hello from Paris! I like french style. It is simple but it looks great!

  31. Hailey Frazier on July 11, 2021 at 2:55 am

We wear trainers because we walk everywhere!

  32. Joey Oliver on July 11, 2021 at 2:55 am

Must have been your first time to Paris. Its sad that Europeans becoming more westernized in their fashion. American "fashion" is not fashion.

  34. Christina Harrison on July 11, 2021 at 2:57 am

Hello! I am new to your channel. Please correct me if I am wrong but isn’t Hobo bag used on weekends? Tote bags used for work, a clutch to carry essentials when you leave your tote at work and crossbody for a party night and just for fun bag would be a colourful bag of a fringe bag? A weekender bag used for a weekend trip?

  35. Cathy peterson on July 11, 2021 at 2:58 am

I think of pink and black lingerie its we we.sexi.of French style 😎 and dark sunglasses.

  36. LoneStar on July 11, 2021 at 2:59 am

You realize that not everyone living in Paris and speaking French is actually a true french therefore all the sneakers and heavy jewelry etc…. is not to be taken as French style……

  37. Doll house 83 on July 11, 2021 at 2:59 am

    Love this video❤️

  38. lmgbebe on July 11, 2021 at 3:00 am

They dress bad in Paris ewww

  39. christine fowler on July 11, 2021 at 3:01 am

This was fascinating —both the footage and your own adoration of the French culture! Subscribed 😬💓

  40. Stara Baba on July 11, 2021 at 3:01 am

Parisians look stylish because they have Paris as a backdrop. Imagine any of them shuffling down the aisle behind a shopping cart at the Sav-a-Lot, and their glam suddenly disappears. It’s all about location.

  41. ayesha khan on July 11, 2021 at 3:02 am

It’s nice to see colours mus be so boring to see only basic colours

  42. BrendaJoyce Lippincott Pasciuti on July 11, 2021 at 3:04 am

Whew! There are many changes since I was there during the mid-nineties doing my Graduate studies! Aside from my student-type wardrobe (I’m American) I wore the first year I was there, my wardrobe changed quite a bit to more subdued (though fashionable)colors and styles during 2 years that followed. I never wore sneakers as much as I had in the states (I never even saw them worn on more mature woman) and never shorts in the city. I was glad to see in your video at least one "older" woman wearing the ubiquitous scarf . Oh well, things change. 🙁

  43. Barbara Ailing on July 11, 2021 at 3:04 am

Great job, but personally I found the various outfits underwhelming, I prefer better the Italian style, more chic and eclectic 😊

  44. Lor on July 11, 2021 at 3:05 am

Lolz classy? And yet wearing canvass grocery bag😁😁😁

  45. ReShaun Williams on July 11, 2021 at 3:07 am

Wait, was that Sabina Socol at 7:09?

  46. Katriina on July 11, 2021 at 3:08 am

So they dress like most Europeans then: chuck taylors and totebags. Both of those things are worn here because they are practical and fashionable, we walk everywhere and carry our groceries and shopping home and up the stairs. Converse are machine washable too.

  47. yellow flowers on July 11, 2021 at 3:10 am

    Your makeup 🙌🏻

  48. Dee Song on July 11, 2021 at 3:11 am

I wanted to watch this video to see what Parisian women are wearing only to find out they’re wearing what everyone else is wearing: pants, tshirt, converse, and a tote bag…

  49. Queenie Kistner on July 11, 2021 at 3:14 am

    Love their sense of style.

  50. monica cappetta on July 11, 2021 at 3:15 am

I love Paris and believe the Parisian woman has not only great style but loads of confidence. That is their secret. But I cannot wait until the sneaker trend is dead and gone. It looks ugly unless you are working out.
